Gospel is Michelle's genre. She was forced to audition for Destiny's Child by a choreographer friend who had worked for the Team. He had assured her that she was not what DC was looking for, but auditioning for them would get her exposure, but she ended up being the one picked. Reason her outfits used to be more modest & performing with Destiny's child was not a natural for her because that's not the kind of artist that she is. In this performance she was in her element and her confidence and passion shone through!

Michelle had a moment towards the end looking like she was about to cry…. Her sweet spirit comes through and I feel like she was just thankful that she was able to get Beyonce and Kelly on board and performing bc she knows the performance would have that much more impact. That’s a true friend, someone who cares about your soul.
