The best part is that you truly learn the essence of various internal martial arts from great masters. The camp not just about learning another new form; the training focuses more on the foundations of internal energy. The theories and practices are explained thoroughly, allowing us to ask questions to the masters and their assistants. It’s not like the old traditional way where you’re discouraged from asking and just expected to repeat. Once you gain an in-depth understanding of different martial arts, it becomes much easier to select one for your martial arts journey. The fact that a few delusional so-called martial arts masters did some stupid things is not proof of anything, other than what I wrote above. I pulled, kicked, punched, pushed, but witnesses said they saw me performing my usual form, only fast. For me, however, everything happened in slow motion, in the speed I use to train the form. I had all the time in the world to foresee, even think about my counters. That saved my life. All I got was a superficial stab in the back and a few scratches. You should have seen the other guys. The most important in a real fight, without rules, is your mindset and your instincts. If you are in control of your body and able to use what you have efficiently, you can win. Else, no training in the world will save you. I had never even learned any applications, not to this day. After this experience, I don't give a damn about standard applications, they are more an obstacle than an advantage when your opponent does not know and use them, too. These demonstrations, where "attackers" hold a fist in the "masters" face are jokes. You never see a realistic attack in these demonstrations. The only way of showing the truth would be a full speed attack, countered and then shown in slow motion. Everything else is just shows.

And with just a gun or a base-ball bat you neutralize 10 years of hard Boxing so what ? The purpose of Taï chi is not to be a champion in a ring but to know your mind and body to become healthier and conscious. These two qualities can be very benefic to any sport or in life in général.

@@pierrebridenne8870You are comparing oranges and appels. It's quite obvious that someone with an weapon has a huge advantage against someone unarmed, specially if it's a gun. The demonstrations here display one unarmed person applying "techniques" (notoriously fake) vs another unarmed person who is offering zero, no resistance at all and is fully cooperating. So stop fooling yourself with this "healthier" nonsense: there are _N_ methods to become healthier, but this demonstrations are about *self-defence.* And we don't need to mention champions, because this B.S. won't work against even a middle-aged politician who has never practiced any martial arts in their whole life and is pisssed off against you.

The difference is in self mastery, not mastery over others. If someone runs into you with intent to harm you, yet they get hurt, is that evil on your part? Maybe in the current woke culture but not in reality.

@@Prueba_Te I hear you. But, it's very hard to believe this stuff. It doesn't seem to fit normal patterns of movement or violence. So, what is necessary is a breakdown of what's happening..if we're to believe that what we're seeing is real.
