I've been following this fangame for over 10 years, it also changed developers since the OG dev left.

I want to see the hours put into 100% this game. It looks creative and overall like it actually has a lot of thought put into a game. Though I think this more then anything shows the idea of "more is less" like yes there is a lot of stuff, a lot of it probably just meshes together into similar ideas, or you might not even get to see half of it because there is so much. Also I still think the idea of Mario and just Metal gear in general is funny as sh*t.

Honestly, this feels exactly like what Super Retro Squad / Super Action Squad (a cancelled sequel to Super Mario Bros. Crossover) could have been like had it been finished. Great video!

Mushroom Kingdom Fusion predates Crossover by 3 years. MKF's original GameMaker release came out in 2007, SMC came out in 2010. In fact, we are still developing using that original 2007 version.

This is like that one Nickelodeon Game for the GBA where you take pictures of the different characters in the different worlds but a Platformer and the Creator had absolutely free rein in IPs.

Based on what you're describing... You might like jumpchains? Like they aren't a VIDEOGAME, but the whole appeal of crossovers, fan games, and genre silliness is just jumpchains.
