No need for rook to capture. Black king takes on a5, goes to b4 and takes on b3. Probably a draw.

Great to see the series return. Sometimes we have too many adventures off the chessboard 🤕. I'm still not sure why the Knight promotion doesn't work. Surely as it's check, the rook has to take --- are the King and remaining pawns winning?

Although I an very pleased that Bobby and the gang are back, I gotta say, the fact that it wasn’t a knight promotion when it would have been a check is a little disappointing Also, at 6:17, what happens if black goes Rxa5, nabbing a pawn while setting up for a discovered check by going Kb6 in response to Ka8 from white?

With both rooks on the board you still can't move the pawn because if you do, the pawn that the king could take will no longer be available as it's now defended by the pawn that just moved so black can just slide the rook back pinning your rook to the king which forces a stalemate.
