He, as always, nailed Freddie Mercury. But his Michael Jackson and Luciano Pavarotti impressions were really good too!

Obviously he naturally sounds like Freddie, no doubt about that, but damn when he really puts on a voice his Vedder is on point.

He didn't have that beard 2 minutes ago. Then he sang his first note as Pavarotti and it instantly appeared.

As if his vocal talent wasn't enough, he can play multiple instruments and plays them well! This guy is my hero...

Marc Martel has such a unique tone that no matter who tries to sing like the tone always comes through with the exception of Pavarotti

I had a chance to meet and talk to Marc when he came to Houston for the Queen extravaganza tour about 5 or 6 years ago. I have a great picture with him :-). He is handsome, talented, kind hearted, courteous, full of values and ethics and a man who loves God above all

Every close up of his face while singing Queen songs there is a lot of same facial features of Freddie Mercury. Look at his eyes, mouth, nose alittle, & his profile. What talent.

I almost passed out when I heard his Eddie Vedder voice....🔥

Marc does sound a lot like Freddie in the range, clarity and beauty of his voice and he obviously has studied how Freddie delivered the Queen songs. But Marc is not an impressionist. It is not that he can sound LIKE all these great rock singers. What makes Marc's covers of these great singers and great songs so remarkable is that MARC HIMSELF IS A GREAT SINGER! To paraphrase something I have heard since my childhood, Marc could sing anything, ANYTHING and make it sound AMAZING! I love hearing Marc make Freddie's songs come alive again, but I also just love hearing Marc sing period. ...And he can always fall back on a fabulous career singing opera if this pop/rock thing doesn't work out for him.

He has a really impressive vocal technique, that's why he sounds very similar ( not identical) to many of them. His vocal range, the strength in his voice and of course, the way he sings.

I saw him back then. He and Jason Germaine both have great voices, but Marc's immediately made me think of Freddie.

Marc also plays five different musical instruments. I think he is also bilingual with English and French. Amazing the amount of time and effort he has put in. He deserves great success in his chosen profession.

No. i think Queen purposely does not tour with him because they would be a parody of the former band without John Deacon and Freddie. they are doing something "different" with lambert, not trying to sound like they replaced freddie with an impersonator. also, he is not Freddie on stage. nobody is.. so it wouldn't be the same experience either way.

BUT.... if they truely believed they were doing something new and different, Rodger and Brian would have created a new band and retired queen like THEY SHOULD HAVE. Because Adam Lambert SUCKS SO BAD. Its not queen... its pop music.

Say what you wanna say but for me Marc is by far the best Freddie impersonator I have ever seen in my entire life. No matter how hard he tries not to, he naturally sounds like Freddie and yes you can learn technique and you can try to sound like a singer or can come nearest the most but the tone, agility everything that Freddie has and no one could ever come close with, Marc does. The passion he has, the instrument that is his voice that is exactly like Freddie's, Marc has. For me I am convinced that he is Freddie's son, he looks so much like him, his jawline, his face to me is believable that he is son or related in some type of way or god created a Freddie in Marc so we can have another chance to hear the legend again. I will tell you why I am convinced in this theory. Never forget that Mary was Freddie's lover, they were young, he was in the brink of fame, who fucking knows? Just here me out. If hypothetically, they did meddle and have a son, Marc would be him. It's the 80's, alcohol, drugs, dunno I feel that they decided to hide the pregnancy as it would effect his career? or to give him a better life? considering Freddie's history... But then again how does nobody know? The band, family, friends? Or did she go AWOL for 9 freakin' months at that time?? or was she good for hiding it that nobody had a clue and she decided to give him for adoption or to a foster home and was her little secret? I mean I don't want to start any theories but I have thought this quite abit. Freddie is 76 by now and Marc is 45 so he would have Marc at 30 years old? Reasonable time for a baby no? But then again Freddie was already famous by then and he already joined the band so I don't know what to think but ughhhhhh they look so alike no?? apart their outstanding one of a kind voices, look alike demeanour makes me believe that in some way they are related. *this is just my theory. Thanks.
