Yes it does! I haven't updated myself with the series and the web manga yet because life got in the way and then i saw OPM drawn very similar to the anime and i was like wait this is not how i remember it...

It's great when independent creators get this sort of acknowledgement. It reminds Me of One and how his art is terrible but he's a brilliant storyteller so OPM and Mob took off.

I did a video with some friends talking about this series a few months ago and we also compared it to One Punch Man actually. If you youtube Kemofujin it will be the only other video on this website about it.

Imagine if this series was animated by the same team that animated Mob psycho 100 😳. Also I really need those Yuko Minaguchi's ASMR readings 😅

I fully agree with that last sentiment! Most of my favorite Japanese games/anime, whether or not they're popular in the west, tend to be aimed primarily at a Japanese audience.

This whole thing looks like the sonichu comic if the the creator didn’t insert themselves into the comic and is actually good

The client vs G-Man from half life

I figure this was something not to judge entirely on the artstyle (subjectivity and all that), and I think you made an apt comparoson to the work of AC-bu. Not conventionally pleasing to the eye, and really rough, but a lot of heart is put into it. Much like with the Galo Sangan video it looks ugly upon initial glance, but you somehow feel the effort put into it.

@@MercuryFalcon I read the manga after seeing your unboxing video hopefully it continues to get fan translated. I think it time I learn Japanese this Drifters and trillion game are all manga I had to stop reading due to dead fan translations. Also, the video probably would have done better with a click bait title like "furry milfs kills giants" (sadly click bait seems to be the best way to get views)
