Egúngún Ọmọwùmí belongs to the class of Egúngún Oníjó, Egúngún Ọlọ́rẹ́ and Òrèbé in Ògbómọ̀ṣọ́. It has Egúngún Oníjó's character with its dance; accompaniment of canes for Egúngún Ọlọ́rẹ́; and its kind of costume for Egúngún Òrèbé. We had session with the man in charge, Àbáyọ̀mí AkáláIfá from Asípa's Compound, Másífà, Ògbómọ̀ṣọ́.
Àbáyọ̀mí AkáláIfá is a born-Egúngún devotee who "carried" Egúngún Ọmọwùmí for 43 years-masquer of Egúngún Ọmọwùmí since 1979-in Ògbómọ̀ṣọ́.
