Dánáfojúrà, which may literally means 'Covet to be set on fire' is a kind of Egúngún that burn in fire without being burnt. There are different kinds of Dánáfojúrà. There's one in Ògbómọ̀ṣọ́, Ọ̀yọ́, Òkè-Ògùn, Kwara and possibly many more. The Dánáfojúrà in this video is the one of Kwara.
During Àbáyọ̀mí AkáláIfá's Egúngún festival (the man-masquer-who carried Egúngún for 43 Years), there were parades of different Egúngún from and outside Ògbómọ̀ṣọ́. One of the Egúngún in presence was Egúngún Dánáfojúrà from Kwara.
