The Man That Saved My Life - Pete Davies

Pete was there on the day of my Spinal Cord Injury, playing a pivotal role in the rescue mission after I snowboarded off a cliff. Now, in his second podcast visit, we catch up on life post-accident.
It's a down-to-earth conversation, full of real talk and reflections on where life has taken us since that fateful day.
We share how the accident's ripples have affected us in different ways, discussing personal growth, unexpected challenges, and the twists and turns of life after such a life-changing event.

I am very grateful to you Freddo. My twin sons were thankfully together the evening they were riding their motorcycles home when the c6c7 terrible accident happened. Their friendship reminds me of you guys. Please keep posting these extremely inspirational sharings.

oh Freddo St Kilda isn't like England 😂😂 not in my opinion ...now if you ask about Tasmanian then that is like England you will find plenty of beautiful woman in Melbourne 100% Tbh i don't think losing the use of your legs is the worst thing that can happen to you ..you can adjust ..as a nurse i have seen many things that are much worse and its such a generalisation to say that its the worst thing ...throughout our life no matter what our identity changes and we are not what we do

@FreddotheWheelchairGuy maybe u are right ...for me it reminds me when people are diagnosed with terminal diseases and people say things like ...wow u are so brave i wouldn't cope ...well yes u would cos u would have no choice ..i know people dont know what to say sometimes but i think they dont realise if it was them its amazing what resilience the human spirit has and life is liveable and enjoyable as long as we chose that xxxx
