Their mattress' don't have the lumbar support necessary for their sleep all day!!! Leaving them tried and drained as they rise each night to suck the blood, money, and creativity from their fanbase. They're in dire need of as much plastic as possible, to then 3D print 50¢ pieces into $80+ molds! Have you no shame? Even vampires deserve ALL of your money to you know.

I absolutely loved Tu'shan in the Tomes of Fire trilogy, however Forgfather Vulkan He'stan to me was an even more inspiring figure, and just an absolute beast in combat too, I pretty much pictured him as space Achilleus haha.

Awesome to see some well overdue Tu'shan and Salamanders lore. Dearly underrated and one of my most favorite chapters of Astartes (needless to say: more of Tu'shan? Yes). And well damn.... now I want more Vulcan/Sanguinius scenes. Very keen to see which chaptermasters will continue the series.

Black library should make a Chapter Master book series and start with chapters who need lore love. Tu Shan,Shrike,Khorsarro Khan and the Iron Father of the Iron Hands. Who leads the Imperial Fists, Lysander?

Need to be careful calling it a Chapter Master book series when some of those you listed aren't themselves chapter masters (though likely do need more lore love)

@@Vikingeek You are right. The thing is, we already had something like this, called The Lords of the Space Marines Series. But only 4 Novellas and a bunch of short storys. The "Leaders" didnt even got the full Novels treatment.

Omg hell yeah bro ! This is a great idea , their are so many amazing characters in 40 k I’m new to the lore but love being drowned by the amount of info in these stories , I’ve rad over 50 books of 40 k over lockdown using audable lol but yeah I’d love to have a book dedicated to this idea bro ! Well done .

I enjoyed the Tomes of fire series a lot. Made me want so much more like that.

Tu'Shan deserves a model. He is a legendary humanitarian. What he did to that Marines Malevolent captain for bombing a refugee camp was brutal. He'd be the hardest hitting marine aside from primarchs.

He NEEDS a model!

People Always talk about how compassionate salamanders are. They forget the other key trait is their pragmatism. It's not anything to do with them being marines, though that just reinforces it. It's why salamanders use fire; death by immolation isn't the most humane way to die, but by using the purest form of purging corruption, born of nature, you will be cleanly removed from the universe and we, the loyal, can eventually rebuild. Every salamander must serve in the 3rd company, the butcher company to temper that innate compassion with the pragmatism of what must be done. (Personally, I think we give too much into memory. They are nice but it's not always the best way to correlate the nuances of the lore)

We need more Dante and Tu'shan lore and just Chapter Masters talking to each other in the lore in general.

Dante and Tu'Shan are my favorite chapter masters. Same like Vulkan and Sanguinius are my favorite primarchs.

Shrike is still my boy... I like Tu'Shan but Shrike is probably the only Chapter Master out there who doesnt want to be one. Gotta respect that!

I just love the Salamanders and their successors. Their dragon like appearance and sometimes intimidating, red gleaming eyes contrasted with their very human and empathic nature, make them so favorable. I dont know if the Black Dragons are confirmed Salamander successors, but they are even more intimidating being "cursed" with strong and scary bones growing out of their bodies. They had an almost martyr like role on the planet Antagonis when the humans and this weird Inquisitor feared them to the point joining some shiny and pure looking traitor astartes.

If you guys haven’t read Burden of Angels, Tu’Shan has an amazing scene towards the end of the story.

Love the work Wolf, was waiting for the Tu'shan episode in this series. A converstion between Tu'shan and Guilliman would be something.

Salamanders I love so much. The fact that on the table top Tu'Shan, Mirr'San, and Harath Shen don't have models and the latter two are now legends for rules saddens me. I really hope they bring them back in lore and with models soon

Tu'Shun is disrespected, and not given enough love, if so he would have had a model by now. He gets respect from Dante, but GW keeps disrespecting him by not creating a model for him. I also bet most people don't know who he is, and a lot of people think Vulkan He'stan is the Chapter Master. We need more lore from him. Because he's outstanding!!!!. This is one character that should get their own model and rules for the game. Maybe even become a primaris. Though I would say that the Primaris tendency to lose their humanity is troubling as a Salamander.

TBH I think that some of the Chapter Masters that perhaps lack the fan bases respect that they might deserve are most likely the ones who don't have models/rules to field. I think before this video I wouldn't have been able to name the Salamanders Chapter Master, and probably would've only been able to name the ones with models (and for the White Scars who I have recently started collecting). For example a lot of people think that the 8th Edition releases of (usually) 3rd Company named captains in Primaris are the Chapter Masters for those Chapters (Kor'Sarro Khan already being mentioned in a comment in on this video)

I think around 100 to 150 years, he’s been Chapter Master around 50 years total. He is one of, if not the shortest tenured Chapter Masters.

I would say that All salamanders need a buff

I really loved the salamanders but after watching the Hellsreach series I can't help but feel that they believe themselves to be superior to the other chapters due to caring so much about civilian lives which is definitely commendable and very rare in the setting and yet none the less to spend the lives of another chapter in order to secure your own objective while screwing them over by not helping to take out the warboss is pretty messed up..

All Chapter Masters should have a new model and book if they don't already have one, I realise GW left them vague in the past so hobbiest could create their own narratives but we are way past that now, with so much info on the legions and Primarchs, hobbiests can still create their own chapters and heroes but I feel for the overall lore and universe characters like Tu'shan should be developed and brought to the tabletop. PS. Dante and Logan Grimnar need decent rules and specially Dante, + new mini's shame they're never on the tabletop.

Mercy of the Dragon is a good short story showing Vulkan's true character has some good one on one with big E too

Makes me kinda sad there isnt a model for Tu'shan. Even if we have the game mechanic of upgrading a captain to a chapter master, it just doesnt feel right.

Salamanders are a good chapter.

Kinda dumb that he was so quick that he killed the traders so quickly. I feel like he should have debated how to handle it and eventually came to the conclusion that they needed to die. The salamanders aren't the legion to have the quick discussion making when it comes to killing a bunch of non physically corrupted humans. He should have made the same dission but without the coldness.

I wish you would have said the statements he said. “He said this really cool line!” (Doesn’t say the line)

Tu’Shan is a boss bottom line. Vulcan reborn is very appropriate. We see in the Heresy series Vulkans compassion but also the dragon unleashed when needed and that is Tu’Shan to a tee. Certain new Chapter Masters (Space Sharks and Minotaurs I’m looking at you) are being being billed as the biggest and strongest astartes around, that’s crap. I wholly agree the sheer physical size and strength of Tu’Shan is overlooked, and unlike those other characters he’s a monster without dreadnought armor just like his dad!! Please give me another Tome of Fire Trilogy!

It would be nice to have more novels on him and the Salamanders in general. But Nick Kyme has them in lock down, and he’s not a very good writer. The Salamanders trilogy was painful to read through.

It's almost as if the writers realized that they wrote Primarchs as too OP and retconned that.

I love the salamanders but if Lord Warden Dante is mentioned during this week I'll be very disappointed as he deserves his own week
