Nothing is more viking than Magne and his facial features, structure, and overall his entire character. I absolutely love Norse mythology, I love this personified admiration of life of the old. Gods amongst us, supernatural unexplainable things that could simply be that, an unexplainable thing that we give life to it like a giant dog, or a man who can wield a hammer and has powers beyond or the human imagination. Love it..

What makes me wonder is how his name is very similar to Magni as in Thor’s son, he even looked like Magni during the scene where he drank ale or something and stood in front of a bathroom mirror. So sometimes I ask myself if he’s supposed to be Thor or Magni.

Personally. I'd rather have a 10 episode season with amazing acting, story telling, VFX, and world building than a 23 episode series that has a few good episodes with some bad ones thrown in. Why make a 10 tiered cake that makes you not want to eat it after the first 23 bites when you can make a single layer cake that takes your taste buds on a journey to flavour town?

Out there are a lot of tv shows where everything is a cliche of the typical American adolescent but then Netfix comes with this amazing new series where shows another and beautiful culture and history. I really think people should watch it for many reasons but the main: Talks about the damage Industries causes to our planet. Is amazing when u can mix mythology, history, fiction and facts in a TV show. I really want more seasons!

Especially since they noticed how popular THOR story is across the globe thanks to Marvel. His story was very well received and loved by the critics and fans. I am so glad that we now get to see THE REAL THOR story from his own country. I remember when THOR 1 came out i was like I wish Norway did some documentary or TV show about it so us fans would have some more background knowledge about him.

I want herman to do asmr so bad, his voice is so soothing and friendly. Dude shouldn't even be allowed to exist altogether tho, he's definitely not human, probably some kind of deity or something, freaking awesome in all aspects

100% YES! The black hair and his mischief. The way he smiles, how he behaves and the last scene in Episode 6 comes to a full conclusion that he is in fact LOKI.

The dance Laurits did with Fjor and Saxa in the school party showed he has a connection with them. Vidar Jutul had an affair with Turid so I think Laurits is half giant half human aka Loki.

Koru in Norse mythology he is able to trick people with illusions not quantum displacement , I know , you can only separate and replace atoms in another place with large amount of energy surpression , Loki doesn’t have a hadron collider in his pockets to magically teleport, but yeah I do under stand that marvel like to fix theyre charecters To theyre worlds set laws of physics.

First thing first: I've waited for this serie for so long that I've watched the whole season on the day that came out. I love every character and specially how they came up with norse mythology and also the environment. This is a great serie and I hope more people watch this. My mom had already seen everything ahahaha I'm really excited for more series from Scandinavian countries!!! Much love from Portugal!!!

If you can find it in your country I recommend a Swedish series called Vår tid är nu(our time is now) it's about Sweden efter ww2 Edit: It's one of my favorites 😊

anyone here from skam? Honestly this is such a good show. I hope it gets more traction and definitely gets a 2nd season. If they can give stinking riverdale like a blooming 5th or 6th season then they can give this a 2nd season and more seasons if needed.

Just finished both seasons and I’m obsessed. Cannot wait for season 3!!!

Bruh when magne throws the hammer at the end of ep 1, I knew I was hooked. I binged all the episodes in one day.

I'm half icelandic and it was really fun watching it and hearing the old norse and understanding it, also, great job at naming the town Edda, it made me laugh

I love this so much, the cinematography of the series is perfection, made me fell in love with Norway too, so as the soundtrack loving how they used M83 and the casts they gave life to the characters beautifully (not gonna lie I was so hyped about this mainly because of the three casts coming from Skam specially Herman oops shoutout to P-Chris, but they are all good). I really hope this gets picked up for Season 2! Let's boost up the ratings guys so share it with your friends, family, strangers or just anyone you encounter for a greater chance of having Season 2. Cheers to everyone involved in creating this masterpiece. 🍺 (pretend it's mead 😂)

Herman dressed up like P-Chris in episode 5/6 i was like hahaa wtf he is wearing those red pants AGAIN. But then I remembered they are in High school and that outfit is an actual thing over there in Norway. Thank you Skam for teaching me that. lol

I can say that I watched this series without getting bored. I can say that the design of the houses, the nature and the atmosphere is really great in this region. I think these regions are a great choice for TV series. I also appreciate the director.

Nigator Master I don’t think it’s cancelled. It’s only been what 2 weeks since it’s out! And it’s really popular all around the world and the trailer for the series got 3.5 or something millions vues so it’s very impressive. it’s the only show on Netflix who’s completely Norwegian and reallly good! 😃

The Norwegian Film Institute offered Netflix 7,8 million kroners to make a season 2 even before season 1 was released, so hopefully that helps Netflix make the right decision about a season 2 😬🤞 The announcement from Netflix about a new season of Sex Education came about a month after the release I think, so I wouldn't expect to wait any shorter amount of time for the announcement of a new season or not for this.

This is an awesome show. I got hooked. Waiting on second season.

Love everything about it. The characters are both amazing and weird in a good way. The story so far has been amazing gripping can't wait for more and finally Norway is just stunning on so many levels feels like Scotland a bit love it.

The cast is so amazing! I love the energy!

One of the best Netflix Originals I've seen. It's really nice to watch things in the Nordic language. Stakston and Bones are a great duo. Strand Gravil is also a pleasure to watch. I felt something for the characters. Great character development and love interests. The focus on the way the characters interacted with each other really made me feel the emotion. They're all beautiful people too.. Far better than other American cast productions on Netflix right now. Real shame there were only 6 episodes. Bring Thor back!!!!!!

Such a brilliant show and these making of's are really great as well. Cannot wait for the series to continue, meanwhile gonna rewatch it :) Also, their filming experience seems perfect, such great people and one big family.

In another SKAM universe they all met :) Crazy to think how on SKAM OG they never had any scenes together all so different. I mean Sonja was only in Season 3.

If you haven't seen it, go watch it. I watched the first few episodes then had to binge watch to see what happens next. Fantastic work with a great cast, everyone is perfect for their respective role.

Fantastic cast in very well written and directed series. It just feels right when Norwegians act as characters of old sagas rooted in their culture, and to have that sited in Norway. This must be renewed for many more and hopefully longer seasons.

If you love Norse mythology and Thor is your jam, this show is for you. Adam's reimagining of this Norse myth is superb. Moody landscape, foreboding and increasingly tense; highly entertaining. David is an actor to be watched and often. He is the kid who became Thor. Our protector. Our hero. I believed him. Mogens is a director that Hollywood and the Brits needs to pay attention to. I'm excited for season 2.

These are the kind of people that I wanna hang around with. Seem so energetic and fun to be around.

I really enjoyed this show, Netflix. I love the Dub, it was awesome because there was still a lot of reading and it just offered a lot of insight. Good shit, give us season 2!
