One reason I watched this show was because of this cutie, I mean damn just look at him. But after watching it I fell in love with the show and I cannot wait for season 2. It was fucking awesome.

Sonja and P'Chris being siblings and Magnus being serious, this must be the parallel universe. Skam jokes aside, I MISSED THEM AND SO HAPPY FOR A REUNION. Just binged Ragnarok last night and the show just reminds me why I love the Norwegian language, the landscape, the people, AND THE HISTORY.. I need a S2!

I love how Herman binge watches HIMYM like me and the boys lmao what an amazing show

I really enjoyed Dark and so i was keen to check out another Scandinavian/European netflix show. Ragnarok didn't disappoint ! I look forward to the next season!

I also love their english version. So much better than "normal " synchronisation. Love this nordic accent in english.

Theresa is quite possibly the closest I've seen to physical perfection.

That's the number 1 reason for me why i love this show so much: because of it's uniqueness!!! unfortunately there are only 6 episodes of season 1.

Richard Stephenson because they study English in school and some courses are being taught in English. With the younger generation, it’s common that they speak good English with only a hint of Norwegian accent.

I believe they make their accents more Norwegian on the voiceovers, even though the majority of Norwegian teenagers do have a good English pronunciation

@@julieh4352 right. because if im not mistaken, these actors also do their own voiceover, but i guess to make it seem more authentic to their actual accent while you watch the dubbed version, this is a good compromise

Basically every Norwegian grew up with american television, and we also (like others have said) study english from first grade. Even if we don't usually admit it, we are all mimicking the voices we heard on tv when we were young. Which is why none of us would go full on southern accent, or some other rural dialect.

This is a surprisingly good show. Netflix don’t mess up. I’m almost done with the second season, and I’m looking forward to the third.

The English they speak is so perfect even mimic an English accent

I dont watch foreign movies but this one got me hooked. Surprised they speak english, got me reading subtitles lol

honestly, I loved the show. I still don't know much about the characters, but there is a certain charm to some of them and I see things that I probably would have done if I were to make a show or book or something so I really really like it.

This show is one of the best shows on Netflix!!!! Amazing cast!!!!!

TYRYTreal as someone from the uk i loved skam, the general culture in norway and school system is very different to where i’m from so i loved learning new things from the show. like, i now know how russ works something id never even heard of before, plus i’ve managed to pick up on the language. skam is a great show and it’s done so well because of the popularity outside of norway, people like to learn about new things

Wow.... how I met your mother and Big Bang theory.... I've never watched these shows and I live in the states.... I hadn't heard of other series mentioned-- I looked up scum, then scam- which is a Japanese series, until I got spam.....lol. I'm going to check out if I can watch it on Netflix--- sounds fun....I binged season 1 ragnarok before season 2 aired & finished watching season 2 a few days ago.... really liked both seasons....well done.....
