The making of ‘Porcelain’ (Reprise Version) by Moby

Музыка

Hi! Here’s a video I made at home, showing how I originally wrote ‘porcelain’ and also how I re-created it with Jim James for Reprise.
'Porcelain' by Moby is taken from the album 'Reprise' out now on Deutsche Grammophon.

@@jren207 Still hiding and ashamed of sampling maybe? There should be no reason anymore. Yes this song launched a hugely successful music career and this sample is a huge chunk on that song and the original made no where near the money Porcelain did but there should be no guilt in that. Sampling was part of a bigger collective of artists from the time from Hip Hop, Indie, Techno, Trip Hop, and Dub/Electronuic music at the time that had a heavy foundation in the cheap 80's digital Akai samplers and 808 drum machines finding their way into the hands of bedroom musicians.

Before you release the album play...when you left the hotel you give me your album and you sigh on it and you said this is my new album and I hope that you will like it.. And you give other one to my best friends brother.. I didn't know you who you was, even my best friend and my best friends brother. .. You have touched the hearts and feelings of everyone who knows what you have done for us with your music. No other person has ever done this in a memorable way. Every track has meaning to it. I love your music and love what you have done for me as person when feeling down. This is a solution to sadness. Thank you so much Richard. Thank you.
