Gentle, vulnerable, slowly graduating crescendo of deep abiding feeling that brings in for me nothing short of exquisite beauty . Such an experience as this is for me all that life is meant for. This is without doubt one of Bowies greatest songs in its original form, but your reimagining of it is exactly what it needed to differentiate it from the epic original. It's 6 o'clock in the morning, already up, I haven't slept much for a while now. Worldly concerns have trapped me, like many others, more now than ever. Among the suggested videos I come across this one, for a little over eight minutes there is nothing else that worries me. This beautiful account of your meeting with David in your apartment, your fantastic version of Heroes, the importance of that song in the lives of so many teenagers yesterday and today. Among them me. Somehow it manages to convey that we are all interconnected in some way, and that music is the most powerful medium so far. Thank you for this quiet reflective moment.

Not everyone feels Heroes is as sacrosanct, and I find it amazing that the power and beauty of it shines through whether it is Motorhead, Moby, Blondie or Peter Gabriel performing the cover. The song works for me no matter who is performing it. To me that demonstrates the power of a truly great song, a truly great musician.

This Moby cover with Roxy Music's 'My Only Love' and Innocents' Mindy Jones turns out to be my new favorite right now! 👍 Same thing when I actually heard Laura Dawn singing the first lines of Temptation by New Order on Moby's Hotel.
