The Making of Brandon Semenuk’s “One-Shot” Segment

Спорт

Last week, Teton Gravity Research (TGR) and Anthill Films released one of the most acclaimed segments from unReal, Brandon Semenuk’s “One Shot” segment. It’s the first full segment in a mountain bike film shot in a single, continuous shot. The beautiful simplicity of the segment hides the extraordinary amount of work and coordination it took from the entire team to create. In this episode of Mind the Gap, we go behind the scenes in Cambria, California to show you how the crew pulled off this cinematic achievement.

Check a chance to talk with Brandon Semenuk & the cinematographer LIVE next Thursday, July 30th, from 5-6 PM EST at our live video Q&A! RSVP here: www.shindig.com/event/unreal
GET LOST IN THE MOMENT
"There comes a time in all our lives when we must let go of all the chaos and clutter of the modern world and tune our minds to a simpler idea…to see into that empty space just a few feet in front of us and see nothing else… to see the path ahead as a story yet to be written. Entire days of our lives can pass by without meaning, yet within these moments of absolute clarity there’s an entire lifetime worth remembering. It’s simply a matter of letting the rest of the world melt away…"

He was originally on more of a DJ bike that helped through bars and clean flips cause it's lighter and the geometry is designed for that type of rideing. And then he switched to a gravety bike that is meant for going fast and big jumps and bumpy off camber terrain, you should of seen an increase of speed aswell.

Given that they can use computers to coordinate 500+ drones drones accurately enough to draw 3D shapes in the air, I'm sure they could have programmed a 3D flight path for a drone, including camera angles. But they had to respond to the guy's actual run, in real time, which ramps up the difficulty.
