Doubtful to me that 'connecting with Nature' is the goal of extreme skiing, snow boarding or snowmobiling. It seems to be getting a thrill from going fast and doing jumps and turns. Is that connecting with Nature? If there are 8 billion humans on the planet today and we are all making consumer choices, our choices do have an impact. Yes, corporations have impacts too, but it is not only corporations that have impacts. Also, without customers to buy their products, those gas and oil companies would go bankrupt. Aren't there electric snowmobiles now? Why use gas-powered ones?

JP will have to try this one more time he didn’t nail it. His big accomplishment was to ski another day that’s about it.

Using helicopters for outdoor recreation burns an insane amount of hydrocarbon. A day of sled bumps on a snow machine consumes approximately 1/100th the hydrocarbon of a day in a helicopter. Anyone who chooses to use helicopters for access and talks about reducing their carbon footprint is a hypocrite. Alaskans for global warming!

The previous generation tram with the Swoboda cabins was so much more beautiful. I still hate the new ugly cabins. I somehow hope one day they’ll be able to recreate the old cabins and go back to those

Great production! Bill, big red’s voice, the dead, the mammoth mountains, the paintings, machado surfing so much beauty. My son Nick Lozica is out there guiding people rock climbing, ice climbing, back country skiing etc… 23 year old doing what a youngster suppose to be doing. Jacked on life! Every time I watch this I feel his excitement and realize why his heart beat/ticks toward this lifestyle! Go, go, go and feel your youth, I only happens once and does go by. Create memories and experiences. Respect the game of life, it’s is a gift Fire on the Mountain! We got your back
