Here are all the pictures I took as I was building my cutting station! I hope this will explain the process and motivate you to build your own version of this setup!

I like the 3 points of contact on floor for good stability.

Yes, that's the reason! I didn't want the whole saw to potentially rock at any rate!

You sir are both a Gentleman and a Genius. I am very excited to build one of these. It is absolutely beyond me why this isn't a saw in production! Thank you very much!

You are very kind! Thank you for your nice feedback! Over the years, many have said the same thing in regards that saws like this are not readily available to metal workers!

Evolutions is trash compared to this. And it won’t go to 15” blades. That cart is top notch. I’ve watched this video 10 times. I want to build this cart big time.

What size of Ridgid miter saw base did you use? 10" or 12". I would like to do this to my Fein cold cut saw.

Do you remember the mofel of rigid miter saw you used for this projcect? I want to do the same with a Fein Slugger cold saw.

What 2 square stocks did you use For the sliding tube in tube. I heard one is 2”x 1/8 wall

The receiving tube is 2x2, 14ga wall, and the inside tube is 1.75x1.75, 11ga wall. I hade to grind down the weld seam in the 2x2 tube! I hope that helps!

@@6ldesignsmetalinmotion217 k thanks. I have a ridgid base like yours but has the slider forward and back. Do you see any issue using that base and keeping the slider mechanism? I like the way you think , setting up your shop. Make more videos 😁

@@ThatDiegoGuy76 I eliminated the slider function for safety reasons on mine, and would not recommend it on a metal cutting saw at all!!!
