This band deserves so much more recognition than they get. They're so so so talented.

Actually I think that for some bands it is so much better or almost perfect to be almost unknown, I like to call them bands for an exclusive kind of audience, cause at the end that's one of the things that makes them so cool they are some sort of private band, and that normally happens with bands of indie rock, I prefer it this way rather than they go into a commercial band.

Plus they been going strong since the early 2000s so there back catalog is insain!

I used to be obsessed with this video. Been years since I've revisited it and I'm instantly transported back to the person I used to be. I'm so lucky to have grown up alongside The Maine.

There is a line in this song that goes, "She could be money, cars, fear of the dark, your best friend or just strangers in bars," and the second half of that really hits me sometimes. But when I first heard the song, I thought John was singing, "your best friends are just strangers in bars," and that has always hit me harder and I can never not think about it when that line is playing. That misheard lyric has brought me closer to this song than I would have otherwise.

I remember back before they went independent there was lots of pressure on them to right typical pop/rock songs about love and girls and you've gotta love how John snuck deep and meaningful lyrics into a song that could easily be interpreted as just another run of the mill love song.

This is so different than the original, but I love it! Tells a story from the heart.

Such raw talent! John's voice is so amazing and the Maine is a great band. This acoustic is so soothing.

I will never forget the first time i met them, they were so nice and awesome

This ia definitely one of my all time favorites from them. This is one of those songs that simply make a crappy day a lot better. This is one of the reasons I fell in love with The Maine. The feeling that they put into their songs is irreplaceable. It's amazing how great the originals sound better with time, and not many bands can do that. This is my favorite version of the song so far! Hope to see them live one day. The Maine, you're my favorite band, for sure!

I just saw this band not too long ago, and not only is their recorded music good, their live shows are impressive. This band brings back good music where there's no voice alterations, just emotion. This band is fucking great.

The trifecta of this version... The album version... And then the home version... Seriously, if you haven't heard all three versions; simply incredible. I'd never discount the "pop-punk" era.. It meant so much to so many people. it meant so much to me. Keep pushing forward on the trek you're going. But never forsake the past.

this band is near enough everything to me, they've seen me through the toughest of times and never ever let me down. I'm so grateful for them being a part of my life, if it wasn't for them I wouldn't have a life for them to be part of anymore... Thank you to the Maine for all the amazing music that has saved me and lots of others

I admit I've lost touch with this band since Forever Halloween came out. I haven't listened to the album from start to finish yet. This rendition almost brought me to tears because it reminded me of the reason I fell in love with this band in the first place. They put their new style into old lyrics - colliding the unfamiliar with the same lyrics I was singing when I decided to mark this band "one of my favourites".
