of all the bands I've listened too since I was a teenager The Maine has aged the best, and I never for a second fell out of love with their music. It's been a journey.

I’ve been listening to you guys since I was 11 years old. I went to my first concert ever at 11 to see you. It was the 8123 tour with A rocket to the Moon. I am 19 years old now and want to thank you for making music. Each album has helped me tremendously and looking back they each represent a different time in my life. I have went to 9 of your shows so far and plan to go to many more. I have 2 tattoos of lyrics from unlost and drive. Thank you for all that you do. You made a impact on me as a kid and nothing has changed. 8123 Family.

Fell in love with this band back in jr high and felt like I’ve grown up with them, now being 27. Pioneer is a definite no skipper of an album. Thanks for all the good times fellas!!

I was 13 years old when I started listening to The Maine. I was in 7th grade when I first heard them. Every album has had a significant impact on my life. The way We Talk was when I started listening to music that I thought was cool regardless of what other people thought. They had shitty taste anyways. CSWS was my escape when my Grandpa died. It was just so different than anything else and the energy was infectious. I need that more than anything at the time. B&W got me through a couple sophomore breakups. Right Girl cut me real deep…. Pioneer was nothing but bangers and my junior year mirrored that. I’m talkin’ that James Dean “Rebel Without a Cause” type thing 😂 Forever Halloween is a rollercoaster of different emotions and it’s deeply emotional. I went through a lot of ups and downs and a few different twisty turns and this album had something to get me through everything… Oh American Candy… what can I say, I got up on stage at the Newport in Columbus and “sang” Right Girl with John’ O whilst shirtless and without pants… because it was hot up in that mfer that’s why lol. I have “Control What You Can, Confront What You Can’t” permanently inked on my skin because (Un)Lost means so much to me. When Lovely, Little, Lonely came out, I was stationed overseas in Japan. I went though a lot of bad shit over there. I tried committing suicide a few times. Fiancé left me. Best friend died… I was on the other side of the planet and I felt it…. Lovely, Little, Lonely was my outlet. Made me feel back on earth and some kind of normalcy.. You Are Ok… This was kind of my come up period. I got married and had a daughter. Changed careers. Bought a house, Benz, and a spankin’ minivan.. I finally beat the shit out of my depression and anxiety that drove me to trying to take my life years ago. YAO kind mirrors that coming out of a struggle and I’m glad I got to experience it during that time. XOXO: From Love & Anxiety in Real Time… we’re living in the era, I look forward to reflecting on it with you all. Thank you to my 8123 fam for always being there. After all, what’s another night on Mars, with friends like ours? 8123 means everything to me ❤️
