The beauty of music, it that the listener can interpret a song anyway they want. You can say the song is about sex, it's about family, or not being able to really know a person. That's the beauty of music, no one if wrong.

This song is both one of the happiest and saddest songs I've ever heard, and this video proves it.

woke up this morning and was reminded of this song. wow it's been 7 years snce b&w was released. i was 15, the summer before starting high school. and now, it's been about 2 weeks since i graduated from college. the maine have always been a constant in my life and i hope it remains that way from my end and theirs as well. thanks, the maine, for filling me with nostalgia this morning and probably for forever. love you guys.

When the boy saw his Grandfather through the Kaleidoscope, that made me feel a bit emotional.

So.. I started to watch the videos of The Maine... since 2013-2014 that I didn't listen to them. I remember in the year of this video 2012 I remember I wrote in John's wall about my grandfather that died and remember just now that i wrote him the biggest letter about my grandfather that died and all bunch of things that obviously can't remember then after that months later this video came up and remember wondering if john saw my letter and got inspired for this video but i have no idea just a random thought after 7 years. Anyways still love the band after all this years and love to watch this video even if there's no relation with my story, reminds of my grandfather and makes me smile. So thank you guys. Cheers. X PS. I had the biggest crush when i was like 14 and now at 22 I can say the feeling is still there after watching the videos lol
