For those that don’t understand the reverence and basically anything: Adleine is canonically the only human in the Kirby series and that made people theorize about where she came from. The first thing that made sense was shiver star because when you really look at it it seams like a completely overfrozen earth and also in Kirby 64 you enter this planet and the only thing you see is ice, ice and mashines but where did those mashines come from ? In Planet robobot there exists a company leaded by Haltman (Full name: Max Profit Haltman) and the goal of this company is getting the material (and basically what makes the planet alive) and for exchange mechanizing them. So this might be why the whole planet collapsed and nobody (except for.....you know enemy’s) is found there (also it’s basically confirmed that adleine is not originally from Popstar because in a book (that is official) it says that she CAME to POPSTAR not dreamland so that means she comes from another planet)

And even more Kirby lore coming here about Zero,Kirby and Void: it’s not a confirmed Theory but it may be That Zero and Kirby are the same and the opposite at the same time (let me explain). Void is described as being in all dimensions and the pausescreens say even more about Void: he can be REBORN but not always as a friend (now I may got something wrong here but it’s basically the same outcome for what I’m explaining now). So what can we make of all this to say he’s connected to Zero and Kirby? Well the attacks he uses are many different ones from other bosses (most are very similar to to Dark mind and miracle matter) that We already encountered. but that’s not everything because when you defeat Void he smiles and that may mean that he got reborn and after you did it you get the retro Kirbo as playable char but that’s not just a reverence or something it may be the Void we defeated but reborn as a Kirby. And what’s the conclusion ? (I’m just going to the point here because it would take to long for me to explain everything) Void can be rebirthed into a Kirby or a Zero depending on what emotions or energy he comes into contact with. Good Energy makes him to a god of happiness and friends called a Kirby and Bad makes him to a god of bad emotions and Darkness named Zero.

From a child who could do nothing but create items to help the hero of Dreamland, to a hero in her own right, hellbent on protecting the people she has left, Adeleine is by far the most surprising glow-up of the entire group of DLC packages. I think it's important to remember; Adeleine (if we count Ado, who is strongly hinted to be the same character,) is the only DLC character to be fought in two separate games, not counting subgames like the pinball one from Mass Attack or Dedede Tour. And both times, when she herself took the stage, she was defeated in a single hit. It's also important to remember; everyone else has plenty of options to defend themselves with. Taranza, Magolor, the Mage Sisters and Marx had magical powers, Dark Meta Knight, Susie, and Daroach all had reliable and versatile weapons they could use, unlike the Crystal Gun, and Gooey and the Animal Friends packed some copy abilities with them. Hell, Gooey could turn into Mock Matter. Adeleine? Paintings. That's all she had pre-Ribbon. And even with Ribbon, the Crystal Gun is a powerful weapon, but... it IS limited in what it can do. That being shooting a pair of crystals. However... that didn't get anywhere CLOSE to stopping her. She uses her painting abilities in every way she possibly can to both assist her friends, AND pound baddies. The Crystal Gun, though limited, is a powerful weapon that Adeleine was given the gift of using. She expands on her arsenal by not just creating boss portraits, but riding around on them for bonus mobility. Adeleine's power isn't latent, it's something she _earned._ Whether it be from the friendships she's crafted, or her own ingenuity, Adeleine suddenly has the same batting average as characters as powerful as Dark Meta Knight or Marx. THAT. Is what makes Adeleine one of my favorite Dream Friends.

Technically, Ado and Adeleine are the same person. When KDL3 was released, Adeleine's name was shortened (because in Japanese, her name was something like Adorenu, so the name was shortened to Ado). If you also consider that Ado could be a nickname for Adorenu (Adeleine), this could reinforce the explanation.

I mean Bandana, DDD and Meta dont have tragic backstories, adeleiene Gooey Daroach and Dark Meta Knight Magolor dont have either just Taranza, susie and Magolor get tragic AFTER the events on their games Magolor repenting for his sins, While Susie gets her father killed, Haltmann wouod be more of the deppresing one

It's sad that we lost our world to ice and metal. But it's a whole lot better than being mindless drones to Zero. Remember it was only after Susie's disappearance did Max Profitt start mechonizing worlds out of malice. So if Shiver Star (Earth) was like that before that, then the mechanization was our only hope. Like how else could we have gotten those space ships?

That sequence at the beginning, of Adeleine escaping a freezing Earth, was HAUNTING. It just completely retextualized the character and her story in my head, just, forever. Amazing stuff

If y'all saw the original animated story boards (on my channel I think) you'll see they were meant to be just space ships - multiple people onboard. I changed the imagery by the end tho.

Adeleine is one of those characters that you don't really question at first just from the series she's in, but then as you dig, she eventually becomes one of the strangest enigmas in the series, and she wouldn't be nearly as mysterious if Shiver Star didn't exist, especially in the same game. Damn, what she must've been thinking when wandering through Level 5... They passed through what appeared to be a shopping mall in one of the stages. Had she gone off the beaten path and explored, she could very well have found things that appeared just for her; that fit too perfectly... And that's only if she _didn't_ have any memories of it. My main issue with the theory of Haltmann mechanising the planet? _We already did so ourselves._

The amount of love and care put into this one video alone is enough to actually banish Dark Matter from the Kirby series permanently, and it's absolutely deserved for the 2 characters who were barely referenced in Kirby at all for 18 years; I REALLY loved seeing the cute Adeleine & Ribbon animations (Especially Adeleine shredding the guitar and Ribbon on the piano!) and the Dark Matter foreshadowing at the end The composition itself is wonderful, love the take on Zero-Two's theme, cannot stress enough how much this slaps

I really want them to appear in more games. Surely it wouldn't hurt to include just a couple more allies as part of the main cast.

There is something so haunting and mystical about the ending beginning with Zero Two smiling.

That ain't just Zero 2 or Dark Matter. If you look closely at it, you can make out some figures around the dark blob like Dark Matter and the transformed master crown. And right as the last few notes of the song play out, you can make out one last figure: Kirby himself.

I came in expecting a quality remix but did not expect the opening to be adelore or her picture to get more an more intense as it continued on. And sweet shinki that guitar part, oh it gives me life!

Bro that final image is positively chilling. Especially since according to lore, kirby is a god, he is on the same level as dark matter in power. He has the ability to destroy anything and/or everything.

@@joelosvaldochoquetitto3771 but void is stronger than all of them and Kirby kinda needed an artifact there too, kirby seems to have absorbed and assimilated the power if the hearts spears and combined it with his own creating both the friend star and the Star Allies sparkler, which seems to be an evolution of both the friend star and the wings that meta and glacta knight have.

Although she wasn't in Dreamland 2 where Dark Matter was introduced, Adeline was in KD3 where she was possessed by Dark Matter. Then she appeared in 64 possessed again. And THEN they brought her back as DLC in Star Allies where the 2nd phase of the final boss has Zero 2's wing patterns. She must really have a grudge against Dark Matter.

I have an interesting way of how I perceive zero and dark matter in general. If you want to hear what I've gathered and what I theorized of how dark matter works, let me know. Most of it is based off your findings.

The beginning was beautiful, giving us some fascinating lore (wasn't exactly my headcanon of what happened to Shiver Star, but you do you), the music and visuals were awesome and transitioned together very well, and the ending gave us a preview of what is probably most likely to come at the end of this medley... Edit: I decided to write short stories based off of the Morpho Medley. I'll put this one in replies.

Sorry that I took almost a year to come up with anything, but if you remember me, I'm the one who wrote that short story on Sectonia's part of the Morpho Medley. I finally came up with some sort of idea for 02, so I'll punch it in here. The spectral Knight hovered over the frozen Earth, standing motionless as the snow fell softly upon his armor. Those poor souls, forced to leave their home planet because of a Matter they didn't-- couldn't understand. Many of the souls he had collected had come from this planet. A nearby crash shocked the Reaper out of his thoughts, turning his gaze towards a ruined laboratory. Shifting into his insectoid form, he slipped through the scrap metal and was met with a familiar, yet changed face. One he had encountered since before time was born. "Come to take me at last, Reaper?" The Fallen Angel asked the Butterfly. Morpho Knight gave a sigh as he shifted to his true form once again. "I am afraid not, Void. You have no soul for me to take." The Angel gave a disgusted groan. "At this point, you just say that to get on my nerves." He weakly waved a wing at the Reaper, as if trying to swat him like one would swat at a mosquito. His bloodied feather barely touched the Butterfly. "If I was saying it to get on your nerves, Fallen Angel," the Reaper replied, sitting down next to the Angel, who was frankly powerless to stop him, "I wouldn't have said it." The Fallen Angel gave another groan, digging its bloodshot eye into the ground. He was obviously fed up. "You're more annoying than that bratty pink star child," he complained. Morpho gave a light chuckle. "Find my words amusing, Reaper? Pray tell, why do you laugh at my suffering?" With a gentle smile hidden beneath crimson armor, Morpho placed a hand on the Fallen Angel's wing. The Angel flinched, the sting of crystal-inflicted wounds still fresh upon his skin. "That 'bratty pink star child'," Morpho told the Angel, "will bring great change to this universe... And you." The Reaper stood and ran his hand across the Angel's shattered halo, which began disintegrating into shadow, the Angel following quickly after. "When you next wake, it may not be as a destroyer of worlds, but an ally to the stars." The Reaper disappeared into thin air as he spoke. "Have faith that better days are ahead of you, old rival." The Angel's vision turned black, but not before he heard the Reaper say, "Your smile will be genuine one day... Void."

Kirby 64 was the game I played the most as a kid, I have replayed the game every year start to finish. I know a lot of people love the Zero Two theme, but it's honestly a core facet to my persona at this point. Needless to say this is one of the best renditions of the song. I had to sit here and think what to type because I was just left so speechless.

I remember seeing the preview that Star Abraham posted way back when and got super excited. Seeing and hearing the finshed product has moved and wowed me on so many levels. The wait was more than worth it. Excellent work Light, and to anyone else involved in this vid.

I just realized that 5:22 is a remix of the *Crystal* Fields Area from the Great Cave Offensive because Zero Two is from Kirby 64 and the *Crystal* Shards. That's an insane detail that makes this masterpiece even more special.

One of the best tributes to this underrated Kirby character that I always found to be one of the most interesting ones in the franchise.

I LOVE what you did with the beginning, Adeleine's origins remind me of what happened with Superman and how he was abandoned as a baby from Krypton.

This is my OC, Gundeleine. It’s pretty much just Adeleine, but she has a gun. This is the one, I think. Everything in both he music and the visuals was so seamless. Also the fact that you essentially snuck in multiple games of backstory in one subtly changing image in the last few seconds. Masterful.

Always love the little ways that you mix up the pacing in the percussion/just in general, this remix was really good! The art as usual enhanced the experience (major props to Star Abraham) and I still have goosebumps! That guitar riff section was AWESOME, You rock Adeleine! ^•^

The opening of this video asks and answers so many questions about both Shiver Star and the few genuine human characters seen in the Kirby series. Proper humans are an extreme rarity in the series with the only two I can think of off the top of my head being Ado and Adeline. They had to have come from somewhere since they are obviously not native to Pop Star. For Shiver Star, the implication that Haltmann’s company took an interest in the planet, but ended up having to abandon it due to a sudden ice age they might have unwittingly caused is very plausible especially with Forgotten World containing a billboard early on confirming that Haltmann Enterprises used to be part of a larger company with ties to that world. Which is likely a recently thawed Shiver Star. Ado and Adeline are Shiver Star refugees.

These Morpho Medley uploads never fail to make me tear up, there's so much love and emotion packed into your arrangements! Kirby 64 is one of the most nostalgic games in the series for me, so I've been waiting for this one with bated breath. I can say for sure that it did not disappoint! The artwork from Star and James was also really great! Fantastic work as always :)

You and everyone involved in helping you make these videos never fail to impress, Light. Seriously. This was beautiful.

Fuck, this... this makes me feel things, especially at this point in my life. It's heavy, despondent, tragic, terrible. But also successful, triumphant and victorious, overpoweringly so. It's positive, it's negative, and it's strong. It's so strong.

Something tells me Magolor might be next. I gotta say I really like how this one turned out. With the internet just about over saturated with Zero Two remixes I can confidently say that this one stands out as it's far more than just "another Zero Two remix". The first half stays true to the original piece from Star Allies very well and the second half is sometimes unrecognizable but still familiar. Your style is magical that way: different but familiar.
