@@marialanchester8180 I saw an article in a newspaper headed, 'Not for the fainthearted - Yul Brynner returns to the London stage.' Booked my theatre ticket right away. Like Nureyev, he was very generous with letting people look at him.
Yul Brynner is my favourite actor and still is up today. He was a super actor.R .I .P.
Yul Brynner and Steve McQueen are just outstanding in their acting and so natural. The Magnificent Seven is one of my favorite western movies. Thank you.

Yul Brynner, those looks, that voice, he moved with such grace and power, what a man!
Even now we cannot imagine to make a film like this. The characters and movies of that time, never forget it.
Yul Bryner my favourite followed Charles Bronzan . But all of them are absolute legends. May their souls rest in peace.

My mother is 70 years old this year, she often rewatches this movie, many times I see her cry. A very good movie.
Steve McQueen was a heart throb! Too sad He left us at so young an age.
Yuu Bruner is my favorite too. He is so sophisticated in acting. I luv his acting! Superb!
Yule Bryner and Steve McQueen. They were so natural, talented, nonchalant and born actors. The Magnificent Seven was so Magnificent that I watched it atleast Seven times!

They had REAL men back then. Not like the wimps of today.
I'm 51 years old, and watching these short films again makes me realize that we're not eternal. Before 50, I didn't realize time and now I know that life is short.
They were all great stars but for me Steve Mcqueen was the man, all his movies he held center stage so R.I.P to all those who gave us this great movie
It's my favourite movie of all times. I love every character in the movie.
Based on Japanese, master instructor, Akira Kurosava original, and one of the best film made ever: The seven Samurais! Filmed in black and white and with a fantastic ending, fight scenes in pouring rain!
I liked most of these movie stars!!
Yes, The magnificent seven, forever!
All of them. Simply magnificent. Nothing else needs to be said.
Always Yul Brunner! They were all excellent actors, but Yul had that something extra for me!
Geez they were all good, legends the lot of them.
To me all seven were magnificent!
Steve stood out as the coolest of the group, but it is one of the best movies of all time for sure.
They were all magnificent. Loved Yul Brynner, Steve McQueen, and Eli Wallach, they were brilliant. Also loved James Coburn, and Charles Bronson played a great part as well. Powerful men in a powerful movie.

The very first western I saw at the movies back in 1960 when I was five. Have loved it ever since. Truly an American classic!
Yul Brynner..ALWAYS my Favourite..What a 9:47 commanding VOICE ,Those penetrating eyes...OH MY GOD !❤❤❤❤We'll NEVER SUCH ACTORS AGAIN 😢
I was lucky to read the transcript of main quotations from the film, and also the original Kurosawa´s The Seven Samuraiys. All the heroes were excellent, bearing the most remarkable features of the and era the people involved. May God give them peace and many thanks for all the pople involved in the making of those films, the Western and the Japanese historical film of swordmanship. Paul, 68.
all of them
James Coburn was a favorite - but the entire movie was unique - we don't see such movies nowadays - thanks for the memories
Too many to choose a favorite. They were and are, afterall, The Magnificent Seven.
Yul Brynner . There’s something about him - some kind of calm at his centre, which shines thru. Eli Wallach - something about him also, in a different way. With Lee Van Cleef ( & Clint Eastwood )in tgtbatu - he was great. Charles bronson , Robert Vaughn, James Coburn, what an amazing era .
Love them all, you can never get actors like these men', I am 74,. Have good memories of them. RIP. 😂
Yul Brynner & Steve McQueen from the very first scene with both of them to the end. I loved this movie. I watch the first part every time it's on TV. And the theme song really enhances the story and the action.

That is because Steve had a big ego . He wanted to be the main star of the movie . He wanted top billing.
Very interesting
Loved the movie and the music was amazing
Many excellent actors & personalities in this Giant of a Western but, for me, NO ONE could touch Yul Brynner for terrific charisma and a voice that SHOULD have belonged to Darth Vader. His voice alone commands respect, just like James Earl Jones.

I like Charles Bronson too
Watched so many movies with my husband. I adored Yul Brynner in the King and I. Charles Bronson was a favorite of ours, Sure wished I could turn time back. My husband was still alive then. When I see one of those old movies being played, I watch them over and over again. Hollywood brought us some great movies. I remember them all, but for the life of me, I can't remember the names of actors playing now. Guess they don't leave a impressing on me. Every time a movie with John Wayne came on, I had no choice but to watch it, no matter how many times I seen it. My husband was a big fan of him. He never got tired of watching his movies over and over again. Always pretended how much I liked his movies. But I got really tired of watching those same movies again and again, just to please my husband. Sure miss all those actors. They were all great. The reason they all dead now, is because of Eve. She just had to eat that apple.Even in those days, a women had the power to seduce her man. And what did he do? He blamed her. Typical man.

It seems like all these actors died from lung cancer or emphysema. They were big smokers back then.
To think I was born when this move came out, I saw it in the 70's. And now they are all gone, how time passes. How fast it came and went. When we were young time had no meaning, now, well I wish there was more.

I am a fan of the late Yul Brynner, one of, if not the very best actors. However everyone in this movie was terrific.
All of them they were legend
My favourite actor then was Charles Bronson, a face which portrayed a tough guy
One of the best cowboy movies of all time. Yul Brynner was outstanding. Steve McQueen also. Robert Vaughn another standout performance, Eli Wallach I could go on and on. I love the scene at the beginning when Yul agrees to drive the hearse with Steve McQueen to Boot Hill. They played the scene so cool.

Brynner 's voice , diction and confidence in dialogue delivery, is incomparable. Not that Steve Macqueen or Coburn are far behind. The cast was the reason, the movie was a hit.

The music was incredible. I think that that was the real reason for the success of The Magnificent Seven. I like all of the actors especially Charles Bronson and Yul Brynner. I have a Brynner story. He came to watch a movie in Toronto, Canada, during the winter. An usher who was working the line of ticket holders, recognized him and told him that he didn't need to wait in line, that he was more than welcome to come into the lobby of the University theatre, where it was warm and dry. Yul Brynner thanked the usher and said: "If all these people have to wait outside then, so will I." He was an amazing character, in real life, not jus on the big screen.

This is one of my favourite movies ever. I really liked Yul Brynner as Chris in this movie.
It was and still is an outstanding movie. I grew up watching most of these guys. My "favorites" would be Brynner and McQueen, but Bronson and Vaughn run very close. James Coburn just stands out in anything he did. When you have a collection of talent like this it is very hard to select just one or two. This was a true classic. Thank you for bringing this to us as it gave us some very good details about them we would not have known.
A great great movie may they all rest in peace r.i.p
This movie was made with new actors, but when I saw the first frames I already deleted it from my life forever. Only the original is the real thing with that old wonderful cast!

God I’m useless. It was Lee Marvin who was the Marine veteran. But you can understand my confusion as they both had that “menacing” look & both great actors.
Steve Mcqueen and Yul Brynner ❤
Favorite character was Yul Brynner for sure. He is basically the only one that held himself together, and was always leader-like. Fantastic movie. The remake was not very good and served as an injustice to the original.

Disagree, true the Yul Bryner film was outstanding and a classic without question, however it was a remake of another classic as mentioned before, The Seven Samurai. This was and also is a classic. The new one with Denzel Washington in my opinion was a very good movie. All three movies were a remake of each other in spirit, but had a different twist, this is what made them very good. If you look at each as a stand alone movie instead of looking at them as a remake, then the comparisons will be different. Of course this is only my opinion and I totally respect yours as well. True grit with John Wayne is a great movie, however the remake with Jeff bridges, again my opinion, was not very good since they truly tried to match it.
Gostei muito dessas informações.
So many greats - but given that it was so long ago (1960) not surprising they have all left us. But it was very special to see them all again and remember these roles and others they played.
They was best actors ( LEGENDS ) .
This film was probably the biggest movie for the whole generation of boys in Georgia (then the part of USSR). My friends, about 10 year old kids, were so mesmerized by all 7 heroes, that we divided the heroes names among us - I remember Nugzar was the Chris (he later trained Georgian baseball team), Nukri, my brother, was Vin (it was his favorite character for life), I had a knife throwing duel-contest (wooden knives) with Shota, for being a cool Brit (I wan!), but frankly, my biggest hero in that movie was and still is Bernardo, kid-loving tough guy, who is remembered by his friend kids (later, already in Australia, I learned about Bronson's other movies, or how Russian singer Vysotskiy wanted to meet him in Hollywood...). When this film was in Georgian theatres, getting ticket was physically very demanding (losing buttons in the queue was inevitable)... All these years later I still think that this film was probably the best film I ever saw... And music, oh my god, music was so good!!! (I am musician). In short, this was the movie of my life... Thank you for reminding me my passion for this movie!

Colvaro .....played by Eiliah Walliach ...Brillannt actor...he was the one the made the movie for what it is remembered.
...and we leave, become just memories soon to be forgotten 😢
This was a movie where nearly all actors had that 'screen presence' and were well integrated into the story line... Those were the days where the actors and story line were the centre of attraction and not so much with gimmicks of now a day movies where acting sort of comes second best in artistic priorities....
best movie ever Thanks
