A huge shout-out to all those who devote their time to this project. There is nothing more heartbreaking than a child with a life-threatening condition. Blessings to all.

Faith in humanity restored! Not only is she helping to brighten up children's lives she is also giving a sense of community for those who help. Also giving some inmates a sense of purpose. That's just all around great.

this is amazing i crochet but i never imagine what a ball o yarn and a crocheting needle can do i would love to support though i am only twelve i was raised and am still being to help those in need and these little girls are now once more happy because of you if theres anything i could do to contribute let me now just know i cant do much but i will do everything i can

I am twelve and I can crochet and I didn't know how much a hat with yarn hair can actually mean to a little girl with cancer or has a diesese that doesn't allow her to grow hair. Bless you guys!

Its so beautiful the love you put in this wings when I was 9 years old I had a brain tumor I went though chemotherapy it was really hard for me not having hair so the fact that I know other kids going through that brakes my heart but you doing this means so much to me as to those kids and family’s thank you so so much

Thank you for your vibrational gifts to remind us that all little girls should be princesses if they chose to be. My mantra is that something beautiful & great always comes out of something not so great. :)

Their website has instructions, videos, etc., where you can learn how to make these wigs. I did it that way and now have made over 40 wigs.

I crochet little hats for Preemie Babies and Babies Born Sleeping, which I donate to local Hospitals. I am also making Princess Hats like these and donate them to The Ronald McDonald House in my State.

My husband and were Medical foster parents for several years caring for very sick children. Our first was a 3 month old baby who was born with a very rare form of cancer. She wasn't expected to live. We had her until she was 3 years old. She was poked and prodded from birth until the age of 18 months almost daily. After that it went to weekly. She was on so many medicines that it was a daily struggle to get her to take them. As she got older when she had to go into the hospital for a procedure they would have to strap her down to get an IV started. This sweet little girl against all odds beat cancer and is now a healthy and vivacious 7 year old! We tried to adopt her but in the end she was placed with another family permanently. Being in the pediatric chemo ward every week I saw how just a simple act of kindness could make all the difference in the world for these little lives. I'm an avid crocheter and currently donate my craft toward baby blankets for my church. I'm sure if you contacted other correctional facilities you would get more donations. I will be sure to pass this video on to others in my crochet groups when people are looking for charities. God bless you and all that you are doing!

you cant do that ^^ the fibers just like 10cm long max so if you take a string thats 50cm´s long and brush it out it would be just 5-10cm long in the end. and i think real hair would tangle alot at this lenght.
