ohi, I saw you here
Please continue this series ! It's Bliss Foster at its most magic
When I was at university they had me analyse the whole scan/screen print thing and I loved it at first, super interesting to see the trompe l’œil being used that way. And in the Barbican they had several of the pieces so I got to go and see them and Gaultier’s trompe l’œil too 🥰

You’re the first one I’ve heard say that! I obvi like this show too but I’ve never heard anyone say it’s their favorite! Tell us why! 💫💫
You are a boss. 🔥
7:55 a lot of the other clothes also almost have that 'crumpled' texture, like they weren't ironed. that also probably plays into the idea of the memory of the object, like its been worn and therefore wrinkled. (im gonna be completely honest i have not watched all of the margiela series or even close to it so i might completely be missing the mark and if so ill delete the comment bye)
Love your videos-so insightful. Your tacit knowledge is insane, never ceases to distract me from hwork

Margiela..Again..WooWoo!!…yay!
Did you get the idea of doing the silent plug at the end from watching the rock scene in Everything Everywhere All at Once ?

Paco Robanne FW22 Fall/Winter review please Bliss! Give me this one 😂
i‘ll love you forever too bliss
a question that always bugs me is how should a designer pay tribute to, lets say his previous work, without being labeled as "unoriginal" or worse? i mean, where should someone look while analyzing this kind of collection? where does the line stand between "genius" and "unoriginal/lack of idea kinda guy"? and how much does a maison status and hype (ie rick rn) affects the overall critics outcome in this kind of shows?

That’s a great question that I’m always wrestling with. The best answer I can give is that it’s different for every designer (I think).
Hey Bliss…who’s your favourite designer?
ALL RISE !
were the trompe l'oeil garments screen printed or digital printed? Seems more like it was digital printed
I'm curious about your opinion on Maison Margiela by Galliano. Great content 👌🏼 J.

Calling me a freeloader is the surest way to make certain that I never give you a penny. Similarly I consider you a middleman between designers and their public.
