My husband is Georgian, he is very familiar with this Tusheti area and we have visited there also. It is an important part of Georgian festivities to have a 'supra' or big dinner with many dishes, and to make various toasts (they are drinking cha-cha, the local 'white lightening" distilled alcohol) At 1:38 Samucha is making a toast to Nature, why we are all here, and saying he loves everyone! At 4:30, the woman is lighting a candle, making a toast to her ancestors, talking about how she remembers her aunt even though she moved a way when very young, and how she wants to be buried there.

I just wish that a narrator could give us what these fine people are saying.
