Era 1960 Karman Ghia hard top. Fav part ... the sick brackets behind the seats .. wicked original !!

Favorite year would be 68. It’s mostly for nostalgia. But I had a fantastic stereo in my 68 with an eight track player.

I love mad max it looks good I use to see them around in Toledo Ohio 45 years ago they look cool

My favorite part would be seeing someone driving it !

I will say that repairing and rebuilding the body/tub was the best as it was educational in doing body work on such vehicles.

That is very cool.

I don't think it was judged correctly I think it deserved a lot more than that there were some real innovations on the undercarriage and throughout the car I think It deserved a lot better points beautiful I have one as well in the garage is 68 purple beautiful I'm driving around orange county all the time and it's fast and it's fun.......

TRULY a work of art FANTASTIC JOB. I've always wanted one but for financial reason can't. I've been collecting pictures of them for about 15 years of little things I like on each if I ever get the opportunity to build one it would be a SHOW STOPPPPPER!!! GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!

I had a 1951 slit window with a 2388 back in 1983 . Had alot of my work done from Mini P|performance out of Toledo Ohio . Boy I wish that still had it .

My favorite is 1972 Beetle. - It was the car my dad and I restored when I was in high school. The Mad Manx build was awesome. I want to see you all do another buggy build honestly.

Favorite part? Far too many to call any ONE a favorite. Love the amazing attention to detail on the build, everything flows. Love the body color and how it matched the powder coating on the pan. Absolutely love the roll cage, the engine, the white letter Hoosiers. Amazing build, I look forward to one of my own with many Airkewld additions to my build.

1967 VW beatle is the best., still had single port heads. first year for 12 volt. still had generator. last year you had to open trunk to fill tank. still had blaupank am fm radio. still had swing axle rear which was best in snow. that cream colored white exterior with black interior. first year for leavers to control heat. still had low back seats and lap seat belts.

Hands down one of my favorites... Pete your guys got a lot of work in that a lot of good craftsmanship thank you for sharing that with us... say groovy my friends & and safe...👍👍🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁

First car was 1970 Vw. Had a blast with it, ran it hard but it could take it ! Always wanted a dune buggy. This was a nice build ! Would love to have it in my garage !

I am a VW nut but my favorites are thw Things and the Manx of any years but prefer 1973 Things and the last years of the Manx

Tens on the back with the rear wheel in a better location. Really reminds me of the Speed Buggy cartoon but modern.Wonderful ride.

Well done on this build... I like all the old school bugs but one that really stuck with me is the 68 Beattie that one grabs my attention.

Favorite year is 1955 ragtop bug. Lucky to have had 2 of them :-)

We owned a 66 vollswagon bug it was a weekend cruiser and sometimes on the quater mile also. I really love the way you guys powder coated the belly pan and more. Over all everything done is so amazing.Od love to own a manx. Thanks , ALOHA.

Amazing work all over. Great detail on the floor with break lines. There is so many parts to this build from the seat supports to the paint. If I had to just choose one part of the build as my favorite I would choose the pipe work with the roll cage and plate fill ins. Great pipe work with the exhaust, Nudge bar, Engine cage. .

Awesome buggy build . My favorite year would be a 59 . The only reason is I’ve got a buggy on a 59 pan and it was my first car. Grandfather and I restored it . And I still drive it every summer. Love the channel you guys are always giving me fresh ideas

I was given a 65 ragtop after a bet I couldn't revive it after a few drinks at a friends, his daughter loved the car and the original plan was her and her father were going to build it but due to his work, time constraints and its condition it never happened, I took the challenge not realizing the work that would be involved and she would come over and help which would give me motivation, her father passed away and it became a passion for her to see it through. When the bug was finished and registered I asked her to tell her family we would have a reveal, everyone gathered and I gave her the keys to the car with the papers and said it was hers, her family was amazed at the outcome and she would tear up for weeks when she saw me giving me a huge hug, proof that a Beatle can change an outlook on life

Favorite part of the build was the finished painted chassis, makes my bug build look tame lol, and that I had at some stage in time done a buggy myself, huge credit to all involved in your build

I have a Manx also I think what you guys did was amazing good job.

Favorite year is a 1969 karmann Ghia. Has all the small lights and bumpers, but has IRS suspension disc brakes and the old 1500 single port.

That would be a 1969 VW dune buggy, metal flake blue with chrome rims and baby moons.

My favourite VW models are 1959 Baja bug and 1965 Meyer's Manx

Love that you saved a broken one but love motor ...would love to know combo and carb size but most favourite is that you narrowed the rear for patrol tyres /rims ... I did a 4 inch narrow and 3 inch torsion raise on my street bug ... but all over nice build guys keep up the good work maybe you should do a 181 thing next hahahah just saying cheers from Australia
