The Lucy Show |TV-1967| LUCY AND THE FRENCH MOVIE STAR |S6E3
Комедия
Lucille Ball, The Undisputed Queen of TV Comedy stars in her hilarious follow-up to I Love Lucy!
LUCY AND THE FRENCH MOVIE STAR: When a handsome French film star expresses interest in Mooney's bank, Lucy is sent to the actor's apartment to dictate a letter. While visiting, the redhead gets too much of a kick from champagne and makes a fool of herself. Luckily, the French heartthrob gets a kick out of it all.

"I knew one day this teen-aged senior citizen would flip!" Great line!
Carol Burnett and Lucille Ball. Neither of them was too afraid to do what it takes to get a laugh and keep their shows clean. God bless them both
No one can ever take her place in this world. Lucy is and always will be one of a kind! When I feel sad or overly stressed I find myself watching her shows and movies, laughing till I cry and my sides hurt.
Lucy had the marvellous ability to turn some simple dialogues into tremendous entertainment and elicit rocking laughter from her audience. She is a scream! There will never be another Lucy again⭐⭐⭐

According to Richard Burton, Lucy taught him this technique on how to read comedy dialogue: shout it. Lucy needed a boost to beat the competing "Laugh-In" but the Burtons made very little impression on Lucy, and Elizabeth had a nickname for her that I prefer not to write.
LOOOL!! the part where the french star is busy role playing with lucy(holding the chair up in action) and mr mooney walking in... my goodness.. almost choked to death as i was drinking coke.. i love lucy so much😂😂😂wish she was still here😭😭😭

Hi Vicky, yasu! I bet you're Greek 🤗! I love Lucy too 😄😄
My family and I loved this episode the most. Even years later all one of us has to do is say “what letter”, and any family member in earshot yells out while wiggling their fingers “I ASKED YOU FIRST!” 🤣
Lucy is so adorable. I love everything about her. I wish there were shows like this today.

@@ann48luv79 , Max Factor was where starlets were taken when a studio wanted to give them a new image. Ms. Ball's trademark red hair and makeup were created at that salon, and she did endorsements for their products after she became a star.
There is no one like Lucy she is one of a kind!!
The magic of Lucy, sheer bliss especially when she has a drink. No one could ever take her place.

I love Lucy she was the best of the best. A fantastic woman comedian. No one has or will ever be another. l always loved how star struck she was when there was a famous person on her shows even back when she had the l Love Lucy show with Desi
The part at the beginning where Mooney attempts to speak French had me rolling😂😂

I was laffing so hard when she said Address this letter to my boss and then said what's his name haha pure comedy gold.
Blue is definitely Lucy’s color!
That blue floral dress goes beautifully with Lucy’s red hair! Classic
This lady was very very good. Very funny. AN AMERICAN LEGEND for sure.
Such a legend I wishes her era we love u Ricky and Lucy together they were stars
Watching Lucy is like taking a good old fashioned tonic. Sets you up for the day.
She never seemed to age and always so funny
Lucy has an incredible talent ... unmatched by other actresses today.

I like this episode. Lucy looks elegant and sophisticated. C' est la vie. Toche 😍 Champagne: voila l'Amour.
My lord . I am watching thousands times never get tired. Classy never die..
When a child I was mesmerised by Lucille Ball. I was 9. I watched many shows with Mr Moody in office. For some obscure thinking I loved Lucy as she was to me like my Mother. I saw Lucille as glamorous, not as a comedy of life.
One of the best. I love that lady so much. As a kid I would wait for her show back in Egypt during the sixties. Thanks to all who uploaded her show.
I loved the episodes where lucy plays the ardent fan while meeting famous movie stars ,the one with movie star Goulet is equally funny and Mary Wickes is an added bonus Where she crashes John Wayne's shooting is also hilarious The endearing thing about lucille Ball is she never seemed to acknowledge what a popular entity she herself was ,the only validation she considered were the glowing press reviews she got ,and she painstakingly maintained her scrapbooks of all these cuttings right till the end I wish those scrapbooks were published for the millions of Lucy fans
Lucille Ball is so funny. They don't make comedians like her anymore they all thank they need to use bad language to be funny.
Even mr. Mooney is so good he's so funny
Lucy was so good honey by him you had stress oh my gosh she is terrific she makes you laugh and laugh and laugh these are priceless they will never go away even this phony he's funny
Lucy is always so funny when she's drunk.

Yours, Mine, and Ours. I love that movie. The old one with Fonda/Ball, not the stupid remake. When they looked at the statuette of the goddess of fertility, it was a hoot. Laughed so hard. He had 10. She had 8. Then she added another one. Awesome movie.
