babe wake up new lore of cultist simulator dropped

I'm low key kinda unhappy with this video. I did the best I could with what I had, but for all its æsthetic beauty, many parts of cultist simulator lack visuals I could use. I tried my best to keep things on the screen at all times and to keep things in constant flux, but I had to make do with what I had access to. Some day I might try to go back and remake these videos when I'm more talented, but we'll see about that. Also, on the topic of Cultist Simulator: Part 3. I'm planning to do a video on the entities in the Manus, but that would be long, even if I just restricted it to the Hours. So, I want to know should I produce something longer, with maybe a little bit less in terms of visual components? Or should I try to make a few shorter videos, maybe even dividing the Hours up into groups to make something easier to get out a bit faster? I could go either way, but I'd like to see what you think?

I think that quality still overcomes a relative quantity, if you're able to keep it up. But yeah, bigger and longer to make videos are the best.

I belive that Hours deserve their own video. There is soo much things you can cover about them. But yea I personaly prefer longer videos even if they have less visuals. Still do what you find most comfortable for yourself.

Don't be discouraged by your lack of experience, you are very new to all of this and we understand. Also, don't be afraid to split a very long video into multiple parts, just as long as each part is substantial. I am looking forward to video.

Aww loved the video. Finally someone is making lore videos about this game.

I'm a sucker for lore and Cultist Simulator's lore doesn't disappoint, I just wished the gameplay was less tedious and more about the actual lore and all the interesting stuff. The most joy I had in the game was when I answered the riddle to Stag Door. I wanted more of that kinda gameplay instead of juggling police and dread and fascination... Well done, I enjoyed watching the video and will watch more.

Book of Hours solves a lot of these issues. Sadly you can still get hosed by RNG, but otherwise it's way more accessible while keeping the lore.

I did the Stag Door "riddle" years ago, then forgot it, and did it yesterday again. To me it didn't feel like a riddle, or a very lousy one at best. I mean the only way to know which card you need is to already have it. You don't really get any hints on what you should look for, not even the principle. Didn't feel liek solving a riddle, as I had nothing to go on, and you can just try every card you have anyways... felt more like randomly stumbling upon the answer.

It is good to find someone among the Know. Also I see that you’re unhappy with your work on this video, first don’t be, it’s a great one and for the lack of visuals, well due to the imaginative nature of the game it can be quite hard to get images that fit the ideas, but the idea of using one of those AI image generators came to me and it might help you with the more exoteric imagery, since they have a tendency to be a bit incomprehensible by design, anyway good luck, and I’ll wait for a continuation with baited breath

I used AI images for the Orchard, since I have hundreds of hoarded Night Cafe Credits, but I'll look into the subreddit and reach out to a few people to see what I can do. Thanks!

@@aditopian also I must say that the scrip is on point, on both of them but the second one I felt it was even better, music is great, and the sound effects from the game add a lot of character, and the voice over is clear and good, overall great video

Note that the way through the Manses is very deliberate.. Passion - Reason - Health - Sacrifice - Reflection. Forest - Passion.. Then as you see more, white door. Reason. You reason your way through your passion.. Then you realize you must endure on. Your stamina will suffer - health. The Stag door. After which, you must sacrifice to continue. The spider door.. the sacrifice of people. Finally, the reflection - needing the mirror to enter.. Peacock. To reflect upon it all. I can go on about each place but I'm trying to be brief.

Finally a historian of the glory

Your narration is honestly so good. Nicely paced, flows naturally etc.

If you switch up the first 3 letters with the last 3 letters you get susMan *amogus s oundtrack plays* On a serious note, loving these videos! I really wish the game had some in-game knowledge base, an encyclopedia where we could read about the lore. And it would only contain what you already found out, maybe even on a per-game basis. It's a bit difficult to see the connections when you only get fractions of information, and more scarcely towards the end of the game.

I love this vid and your last Cult Simulator vid. I wish to see a video specially about the lores, the Hours, and the timeline in the game. But, don't force yourself. If you need time to make it, we'll sure wait. Perfect things doesn't come often.

Love your vids so much! The lack of visuals don’t bother me any and I doubt it’s a huge issue for most would be listeners. The game attracts people who don’t mind. The book of hours should have a lot more visuals I suspect, given all of the different location images they’ve teased.

This littler series was amazing. Great little dive into the world of cultist simulator. The tone of it was fantastic and on point. If you'd ever consider doing a more in depth analysis it would be incredible.

Hey man, was replaying CS again and was looking for my fellow adepts among the interwebs, so I bumped into your channel. First of all, I love your content and I really hope you make some more stuff. CS is among my favourite games and I really enjoy listening to someone who also seems passionate about it. Secondly, I get that you worry about the visuals, but I would argue that CS as in the spirit of the game is more "tell, don't show" as should be imo with its lovecraftian vibe. Anyways, I wish you the best and thanks for making these couple of videos.

Well I had to put just about everything on hold for the moment cause I’m in my final quarter of college, but I’m working as best I can on the Hours video, hopefully I’ll be able to get another one out by the release of BoH

I like your work, but I want to offer you a couple of criticisms. They are minor, nothing a short round of editing can't fix. First, your volume levels. Your voice is too quiet, and at times it's entirely drowned by music. Second, sometimes you use text colours that blend too much with the background, like grey letters at 4:14. You should've probably picked a different colour.

Yeah I'm def not the happiest with the volume or visuals in this one, I ran it by my friends and they seemed to think it sounded fine, so I went ahead with it, but I def agree with what you're saying.
