People who want to make broad appealing slop will. KZread will still give you ad money and boost it either way, as these are old old fears and rumors from the addpocolypse days. But it says a lot about the creator when their first concern is marketability.

This is genuinely an excellent design for a Silent Hill monster, and I only wish the Father’s design received the same treatment

I love how the Silent Hill franchise takes fear and the imagination to the screen. Just proves that fear can kill if you allow it. But also this franchise shows how important it is to remove past mistakes/actions that anchor our lives.

Climax was the best from the western games of the saga, I always regret that Homecoming, and Downpour weren't made by them. They really capture the classic elements of the game really well. You forgot to mention the Jocasta device, which means Travis had a very unhealthy relationship with his mother, kind of like Norman Bates on Psycho.

Fun fact that made mi giggle: English is not my first language, it's Spanish. In Spanish the word "sanitarium" is also very similar to "sanitario" which means "restroom". Sanitarium in Spanish is "Sanatorio", very similar but for a sec I thought he meant she was sent to the restroom and that was funny lol

I actually liked this game a lot. Some of the monsters were so good

Definitely an alternate take on the boss in Silent Hill 2. James had to fight his wife who was trapped in a frame that represented her being trapped sick in bed. I always loved the twisted imagery because it is like the world these people are sent to is alive and feeding off your pain. Only in fighting off this misery can you hope to escape the torment I know there is more to it but that has always been my interpretation
