The Little Ship with a Loud Voice
The Coe Luisa arriving with industrial equipment and containers for Duluth’s Port Terminal docks! At 452ft long, she’s a small but incredibly versatile multipurpose Saltie that can haul nearly any cargo type. She was built in 2008 as the Beluga Felicity. In 2012 she and her entire fleet were sold to BBC Chartering, and renamed BBC Tennessee. Then in 2020 she was sold and renamed Coe Luisa. She can carry around 12,600 tons.
To my knowledge this is her first trip to Duluth! Despite that, she nailed the Master’s Salute with a shockingly good horn for a ship that size. I was talking to fellow KZreadr @1Long2Short later that day, he said he could hear the horn loud and clear from the Superior Entry, 6 miles away. It sounds like she might become a regular, potentially starting a regular route between the Lakes and Europe.
She departed nearly a week later and went up to Thunder Bay. Her departure will be a bonus video I’ll put out as soon as I have time to prep it!

Nope!
Coe Luisa is like the smallest kid in the family that screams the loudest. 😅 She's got a heck of a voice.

Lol she did that for sure!
Beautiful piece. I think Vibe with Mike had this ship a week or two ago. The 2 big cranes are unmistakable. I seem to recall he was shooting from the south pier.
