It's 2024 and the song is still great💃

I was listening to this song back in 2018 when my sister was fighting cancer! We later on lost her😢! I hear the song and I miss Faith each and everyday😢 Rest in peace sissy! This song is a comfort to me❤ Here in 2024, 6 years later!

No gospel message in this song. Not even a hint of meeting their beloved again after resurrection. Just bodies sharing a grave. Which doesn't mean it isn't beloved classic. Re. Vocals, I'd say these British styled vocals are more formal and disciplined than the typical southern US style vocals we usually hear in this tune. So I'm curious- what's primal about this recording?
