My dad's favorite song during our evening family hymn sings😢

Singing this song in grade school, the boys sang the "o, come, come, come and the girls joined 'in the wildwood' etc. Back in a day when life was fun, no terrorism, no fear of what the govt was doing. Mom, Dad, all family around, lots of love. Thank God.

Such good memories of my childhood - my sister’s favorite - can’t wait to share! My heart is glowing with happiness and peace 🎵

I want to have this song at my Celebration of Life. I've been to a few over the last couple years and decided that I want to pick my own play list. I love this song because it reminds me of my early childhood when "everybody loved me" and church was the focus of my life.

Beautiful! Big ornate churches, cathedrals, temples, etc all have their place but give me a little country church with its humble, sincere people any day!

Dolly is the best. Many versions on KZread and hers and Andy Griffith's from his show and the most-satisfying.

I am taken back in 1978 when I first started going to church and I do recall all these songs. May the LORD bless you.

This song takes my mind back to my childhood days... Oh I like it so much

When I was a young boy, about the age of 12, my cousin, Sherry , she was a couple of years older than me, played that song a lot on the piano in the living room. She was learning that song as a piano lesson, but she could play it well, and I always loved to hear her play it.

Also , the number of weddinga tht day was 6 and from as far away as California. " The Little Brown Chuch in the Vail" , Natasha, Iowa....
