My mother loved your lisianthus. She always had my sister reserve some for her. They were so beautiful!

What are your favorites to host? Some people are naturals at presenting workshops… I have a feeling yours would be great fun.

We grow those by seed and include them in flower bouquets. We offer flower shares at the farm and folks receive bouquets of flowers throughout summer into fall from our cutting garden. Where and how do you pinch them? We never have.

Usually just above the first or second set of true leaves.

Hello from ontario. Just over the twin citys. Sault ste marie. Just started watching your vlog about a month ago. Our last frost date is end of may. But not sure of this year . Ive started planting things indoors . Mostly flowers so far. I did start luffas in February an already pretty tall. Lol cant wait to get things outside. Summers are short an need to start things earlyer. If want a good crop. Belgona are not the easiest for me to go. But i did manage to keep one growing over winter. Question. Should i fertilize it now. Or do i bother at all. Scared to kill it.

My mom and dad were in Sault Ste. Marie. MI this afternoon! I’d give the begonia just a little fertilizer. If it’s looking healthy, you don’t want to mess with its good vibe 😀

Hi Corey! Question, if you don’t open until early May, why do you separate the flowers by order? Couldn’t you wait until right before you open to separate them? I would think it would make it easier to take care of them. I am sure you know what you are doing. Just thought I would ask.

@kristinstevens1349 You're absolutely right; it would be easier if we could do it that way, but we are also planting custom containers right now (which is a big part of our spring business), so we still have to remove the plants from the inventory now. Which wouldn’t be so bad, except, the last two weeks in May are when we have to bring perennials, trees, and shrubs out of winter storage… and our orders for additional perennials trees, and shrubs arrive, so it’s all hands on deck getting those organized for opening. It’s also when the phone starts ringing off the hook. 😆 Since we’re pretty good at taking care of plants, we’re playing to our strengths by organizing things now while we have this little window of time before the next wave of insanity. Hope that makes a little bit of sense. It’s definitely not a perfect system, but it’s working.
