So sad seeing Jason Raize (adult Simba) again. Still can't believe he died. All that potential.

Je sang the lion king song endless nights to his father. Who didn't accept him because he was gay. Still searching the internet for the original song song in the musical. Not the television reprise. It was so beautiful

Thank you so much for uploading this beautiful footage of TLK history. I've looked for the OBC of this musical for a long time.

I've heard of a bootleg filmed shortly after opening night, from a box seat so it's at an angle but still very interesting

Today, February 3, 2024 marks 20 years since Jason's death. It's a shame he decided to take his own life too soon. I don't judge him, he had his reasons and we must respect that, I just hope he now is in a better place and at peace. Always remembered and never forgotten. Rest in peace Jason Rothenberg Raize.

@@missym877 He means the Minneapolis tryouts. They went there to get the show in its feet before officially opening it up on Broadway. I believe these images are from Minneapolis. The full shoe in amateur is available.

My dad went to this in 1997 and bought a original simba doll based off of the costume. It still has the tag on. Does it have any value?
