The Lion in Winter (1968) by Anthony Harvey, Clip: Katharine Hepburn "don't give a damn!"
Фильм және анимация
The Image: You think the Queen Vic in Eastenders (or Dynasty for you American types!) is the place to go for a right royal bust-up at Christmas? Think again and rewind 800 years to 1183 and you will find this real capital R Royal bust-up between Katharine Hepburn as the rejected yet feisty Eleanor of Aquitaine, and Peter O'Toole (being Peter O'Toole to be honest) as King Henry II of England (and France).
Like most couples they are arguing about money, their children, and, umm, whether or nor Henry intends to return Eleanor to prison once the Xmas decorations are taken down...
Anyway, as Katharine Hepburn makes very clear at the end of this clip, she "don't give a damn!"

O'Toole deserved one too. He was a far better actor than the guy that won that year--Cliff Robertson for "Charly'"
The clap at first is applause for what he thinks is a trick, then you can tell how as he gets closer and builds speed it's a threat. O'Toole can play such lovable bastards.
The writing is wonderful ❤
