if we may categorized something that related with spiritual, mystical, magick etc. as 'intangible science' it exists but not always applicable as the same as mainstream science so unique to particular case.. that's why to my 'weird understanding' those who suffering the schizophrenia is always experiencing 'brain chemicals disturbances' their brain always open to other 'Intelligent Algorithms' of Consciousness..
