Pre-Christ I loved spending my time and money on women, bars, clubs, marijuana, booze, nice clothes, sneakers and jewelry . As a born again Christian, I'm enjoying my life way more without all that stuff. I thank my Savior and Lord Jesus everyday for providing me with water, food, a home, clean clothes, an gas saving dependable car, good health. More importantly, Jesus has saved my life from hell and has placed me in heavenly places and ppleasures. God is awesome!

All people before pre-Christ life have all gone through what you have gone through. We all have committed the same sins pre-Christ. But i'm glad you have found Christ before it's too late. Now, to even just stay at home on my day off is such a pleasure vs probably traveling to Switzerland.

Voddie Bauchum, John MacArthur, Paul Washer, are all great servants and expositor's of God's words. Find a church that does the same so you can be in fellowship with true believers. We need this in a world that hates God so much. Gather, worship and share His Word. 😊

I am going to be baptize in March. When you are selecting a church, find out what is their Confession of Faith. This tells you what are their beliefs and what they teach. Hope this helps.

Its amazing to me that a Pastor can call you out in so many ways and still make you want it. Because your soul knows and understands what you need from God. These rules will allow you to leave worldly things and become hungry for the Godly things. And will make your life easier and more fulfilled

Praise be to God and Lord Jesus Christ for an amazing message from a true servant of God. It is absolutely not a sin to experience pleasures of this life which God gives us as long as we maintain within the perimeter of God's limits and do not cross the line. It is also wise to learn from other peoples mistakes and experiences. However, the mistakes I have made (heroin addiction, alcoholism, divorce, living a lavish lifestyle to living on the streets, being in and out of jail, stabbed and held at gunpoint numerous times, having near death experience from overdose and heart failure, etc. etc.) led me to repentance while giving me experiences in life with which I can relate to, help other people with, and glorify God for being so patient, kind, loving and forgiving.

I had a step dad who lived near a dock by the ocean. One day, a ship dropped off a pallet of Captain Crunch cereal. As kids, they took their red wagon over there and filled it up many times, until they hauled the whole pallet of cereal to their house. Momma made them eat that cereal every day, until they ate it all. They all hate Captain Crunch to this day. LOL

Let yourselves hear these words and know that they give you two things: 1) They set your heart free of the things this world offers you; things which may confuse you. Alas, you are free to pursue our Father without this world's opinions. But you are free when you put Him first in all you do. 2 ) You are also given responsibility--to not only pursue our Father as the prophets did, but you are given the power to also do what Jesus teaches us---to preach the gospel as a disciple. Push outside of your comfort zone and listen to people so you can hear them seek something they may not even know. Listen, and let Holy Spirit come into your heart to give the words to say to offer people a truth that will free them as your faith has freed you. We have a responsibility, so let us serve Him, not our own opinion...

I’m also going through the same thing, but we have to remember that the Spirit and the flesh are at war with each other. We need to learn obedience and surrender our desires and worldly pleasures to God. I usually find myself going back and forth with the things that I find joy in, the things of this world. But I know there’s nothing impossible with God, He will surely set us free. I usually find encouragement in this Bible verse “Philippians 1:6 being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Let’s continue seeking the Lord my friend.😊
