This is my first client project!
Over the last year and a bit, I've worked on improving my recording and mixing technique in order to record future material for my band; Lotus Born.
Our debut EP (Asura) were the first 3 songs I mixed/produced, and I've learnt a lot from that initial project. Although very small, people seemed to like it, which led to this!
The Limitbreaker is my first client project when it comes to music, and was designed to be an opening track for a local wrestler: / iamjace_pw
The brief was simple:
"I just need something that makes we wanna punch. Oh yeah, and I love BFG Division from DOOM".
I have almost no experience working with synths, so I spent a lot of RND to try and create a sound that is reminiscent of Mick Gordon's work while incorporating my own metal influences. I'm no where near Mick's level, but I hope this gives you a similar vibe!
