I've never been in a lighthouse, but that one looked very cosy with a well stocked bar. Having an Octopus pickled in a 10 year old Glengoyn was a brilliant tip as well - well done. Very enjoyable.

Moral of the story, dont give booze to cephalopods. If an octopus attacked my face, I wouldnt be in the mood to play violin soon afterward.

The animation, lighting, sound effects, background music, perfect camera angles absolutley outstanding. For the first time in my life I never skipped a video. Even though it had no dialogues, it was completely clear on what was going on. Just amazing🎉🎉 this channel is criminally underrated! Seriously y'all deserve millions of views and subs. Keep it up!

This was brilliant, the story, the animation, the octopus wanting retribution and getting a gang together 😂 moral of the story I think is - dont cross octopus, they're evil geniuses 🤣

This film was great! I was captivated!

Well done! Very entertaining.The lonely life of a lighthouse keeper ... the menace from the sea ... a good single malt ... a fiddle, and a reel!

so delightful!! all the different props and sets were so wonderfully detailed (the stacks of books and the fiddle sequence and the pipe and his two fishermen friends at the end!!!!) and the music did a beautiful job at setting the tone. the kraken was wonderfully sculpted too!! good work on the tentacles :> if i were the lighthouse keeper i would've shared the whiskey and made a new friend

This is pretty good & I'd imagine it was difficult to animate an octopus. I'm glad to learn that no animals were hurt during filming. Lol

Truly excellent reminiscent of H.P. Lovecraft The White Ship, Dagon and some what the lighthouse as well Just like GRANNY'S ATTIC. you should have more likes again truly excellent the time taken to create such incredible short videos though they should be longer for just a moment watching two videos has helped me forget my depression.

I know of no Irishman who drinks Whiskey that would lie to his bar chums about the one he was glad got away . LOL !!! Superb short from start to finish 100% FANTASTIC... If that's an Octopus it's one that's been hanging around ole Cthulhu & picked up not just some tricks but a love for good ole Irish Whiskey. Hats off to all you that worked on this as it's a gem !!! You all deserve a a bottle of Jamesons & one of Paddy !!!!

The Flannan Isles Lighthouse is a true story about 3 lighthouse keepers who mysteriously went missing.....I don't know if there are any books written about it or anything though

I also am making a film about a seaman who has to fight a giant octopus

The octopus scene was funny. They can take off tops of jars and although they don’t scurry away that fast, they can slither away and get back into the ocean. They’re so smart. Never had the pleasure of meeting a real octopus.

The lighthouse was never lit. Not once. That guy was just a bum that gave booze to marine life.
