They did have a shop for the jester or one of the other purple roles at one point. IIRC it was either one of the various things that was lost after a game patch update caused a lot of other mods to bug out, or it became so OP broken/abuseable that they just banned it.

@@HarbllbraH If you look really carefully, you can see an open trap on the other side of the door that's closed after he walks over it. Look just above the lowest black bar on the door at about 9:12 and you can spot it before he walks into it, and it closes. You can see it closed at about 9:24 when Nilesy walks closer.
