Well, I’m very glad everyone is enjoying it! It was a very big project, I started working on it back in February and it actually was a friend’s idea, but I had to come up with the vast majority of ideas for upgrades myself. Yeah there was no question what the controllable manhack’s upgrade was going to be called haha. And don’t worry, there’s plenty more Yogs references to see with the upgrades!

Whoever coded the pack a punch to not just affect weapons, but every item in the game including the player themselves deserves a little extra bit of love this christmas. I cant imaging the amount of work it took to even just code that stuff in garries mod, never the less actually coming up with the ideas and relatively balancing them. You have singelhandedly added the most significant mod to this game since the introduction of the randomat, Fantastic Work!!!

Wow thanks… Yeah, I started working on the Pack-a-Punch back in February. It’s definitely the biggest project I’ve done with TTT since the achievement hunt map, and it took over 5 months before I released the first version. Glad to see them actually using and exploring it haha, there’s a couple more randomats to see that use the Pack-a-Punch too.

Future house rule suggestion: when an ESL player (Rhythian, Zylus, Nilesy, etc) gets transformed (zombie, elf,) it would be fantastic if they immediately reverted to their native language. They did it briefly years ago, and it was amazingly funny, to me at least.

I think the main reason the elf randomat is so powerful is because almost every time someone willingly gets converted, immediately doubling(or more) the amount of elves that can just stun another player, unlike the zombies where there is a good bit more effort involved, and almost universally no player wants to be turned into a zombie.

Zylus is 100% correct. British English "pudding" makes no sense. It basically means dessert. but American English "pudding" is normal. it's a specific thing.

What was going on with Lewis's perspective? was he learning to use a new type of mouse? Like one of the ball mice (not ball underneath, ball above) or one of the vertical mice? Either way his perspective was fucking awful. Jittery and spastic movement, but also weird smoothness would periodically kick in like cinematic mode turning on. Weird.

To be fair on the pudding thing. Pudding means something different in different European countries, so when we started introducing them all we kept the name so it kinda messed up there.

It's because "pudding" was original a type of savoury sausage (aka. black pudding, white pudding). Over time people started putting sweet things in sausage casings but kept calling them puddings. Then people stopped putting those things in sausage casings and just served the filling directly, but the name pudding stuck. So savoury puddings tend to be very old fashioned and sweet puddings more modern. It's a word that's nearly a thousand years old, it's not surprising it doesn't quite make sense. The key thing is that puddings are cooked, and they also tend to be high in animal fat.

Not really, boxing day is usually spent with close family and eating up leftovers. It's the calm after Christmas. Lots of people go shopping on boxing day, like America's black Friday, although that's a modern thing.
