The Life of a PhD Student: Q&A (Lund, Sweden)
When pursuing a PhD, there are some things that will be a part of your daily life; stress, love, hard work, dedication, confusion and of course striving for your passion. Many people are interested in pursuing higher education but are hindered by fear. In this Wise Grad episode, I ask a few students about life as a PhD student at Lund University in Sweden and show you the real faces behind the lab coats, questionnaires and computer screens. Enjoy!

Thank you so much for making this video, to each participating person in it for sharing their own experiences and feelings. My dream is to pursue a Ph.D. in Sweden. I hope there are opportunities for those like me who studied history and literature.
I really like the format of this video! Loved hearing all the different perspectives, can't wait to see more!

Thanks, Brianna! I'm glad you liked it
Thanks for the insights! Haha, I recognized the german the minute he opened his mouth :D Seeing this video helped a lot! Especially the managing part, but also that all of them love their project/ topic and love learning, which I do. I just wasn't so secure about myself doing a phd in general and then in English..
This was excellent! And I love the diversity :)
Excellent video 👌

Hi I would love to know what sort of places and which cities/areas do Lund PhD students typically live in. Do most people live in either Lund or Malmo in private (as in, non-university) accommodation? What is the commuting experience like?

Great video Mr Wise. But all the participants are in the sciences. Kindly make it more diverse with candidates from others PhD fields like engineering, business, humanities, education etc. Thanks.
No one in humanities:/
