I think you need to rearrange your furniture in the bedroom. Try Putting the bed on the wall that past the door entry door so you could be facing the little window and then maybe that will give you space to put two nightstands on each side of the bed I don’t know how much space you have or try putting the bed by the wall where you have the mirror and see how that works I don’t know if you would like to be by the door but then u can be facing the closet door and have your dresser next to the closet door. Sorry I don’t know if I make sense hope I do 🙂

Agree with the rug suggestion to match length of room and off set from the bed like your inspo picture ... Alternatively, you could center the rug off the dresser if you like the rug covering all the open floor space. The rug is beautiful, hope you find a way to make it work.

The rug is really cute! You just need to turn it the other direction. Because you’re room is a rectangle, having it turned the way you have it now makes it seem smaller. If you turn it the other direction and put it under one side of your bed and further back, you will be able to see the tassels and it will make your room seem bigger! I think you’ll like it a lot better that way ☺️. Love your channel!! And these moving vlogs!!

I recommend getting the chemical Tempo! It’s safe to spray all around baseboards, cupboards- pretty much everywhere. It’s safe after it dries. Used a lot in barns & restaurants. Works awesome and would take care of any creepy bugs. I live out in the country in a older home and we never have any issues!

Bed 1 is my favorite! Both are cute but bed one would look perfect in your room. I love your rug as well. Everything is coming along so well!

If the dresser will fit, put it on the wall opposite the bed (like I said, if there is room enough to open the door). That way the rug will span the open floor space side to side and from the end of the bed to the dresser. Sill still have room for your tall mirror (please attach it to the wall somehow - command hooks should work and won't put holes in the wall). The mattress is neat the way it inflated on its own.

I was shocked when you said you were in Tucson I live there thought that was pretty awesome... I love your different hairstyle btw it's really cute.

If you keep that rug put it a little under the bed and dresser but turn it so if you’re standing at the door and looking in the room the outer corner of the rug would be angled. If that makes sense. You can still see the rug and the line of sight will draw your eye diagonal from the door to the windows to elongate the room instead of blocking it up. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I think those bugs are Silverfish. You get them a lot in older homes. Nothing to worry about. They like the damp basements. I liked you rug though. You might want to position it the other way and have some it go under the bed. This way you have some rug on the side of the bed and at the end of the bed.

I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, now live in the country on a farm...had to get to ohare this past week... Chances are slim to nom making it under 2 hours lol. Hit a tractor on the road or traffic in Schaumburg. So while i hate the city of Chicago, totally get why youd move that way.

Love the rug!! This may sound weird but try turning it diagonally so it can take up more of the room, that is the trendy thing right now. :) Love these long vlogs girl!

Are you able to move your dresser to the wall your mirror is on? Then corner your mirror to the left of your dresser, the current wall it’s on in the video and then move your bed a little to the right side(us viewers right side lol) so it’s more in the middle? This way you can see the tassels on your rug!! 🙂

Wait I just saw your closet is where the bed is if it were to move to the right more lol but I still say if your dresser fits on the other wall and your mirror can be cornered, do that. It will give you more room.

I prefer bed 2! I'm excited to see how your room looks when it's finished, it already looks so much cuter and more homey! also.. there's no way I would have been laughing shortly after seeing that bug... it would have scarred me for life lol.

This is why I like going to Ikea, they also don't have the middle-men. Makes everything soooo much cheaper. That $129 lamp, something similar at Ikea would be $25 maybe.

Bed 2. And that bug was a centipede they are pretty harmless but they do bite so I squish them. The pest control said they eat spiders which I guess is at least one good thing. They like damp places.

I love the fact that you said there was no smell. I'm ridiculously scent sensitive, like migraines and insta-vomit from certain things. If you're not scent sensitive you don't realize how much it affects others.

House centipede. Harmless but they are the creepiest. I just shop-vac'd one last night in my basement. Vacuum wand is the best way to get them, just let it run for a minute. Empty outside, but I've never had one still alive 😉

I would move the rug in the middle of the floor between the foot of your bed and your dresser . Bed #2 love it

I live in Tucson and the airport is on the south side and it's a very sketchy area and the city of Tucson is so big that the airport is considered to be in south Tucson which some people say is a city of it's own. I can literally spot an eegees from anywhere lol. I love this vlog so much because I know the area you stayed in because I'm a tucsonan
