thank you so much for this... all the things you said here resonated within me so much. i was always running away from myself, always scared of throwing out high school jerseys and stuff bc i was scared of letting go of my past...

This resonated with me on so many levels. I'm a mum with a toddler, hanging onto stuff from when I was at school and when I was younger. Memories that just sit there. Thank you for sharing this. Inspiring. Going to try and start Konmari my apt in the New Year.

Yes! I have a just in case mentality and it's hard not to stock up on things or let something go. I like how you said it's like getting rid of an ex 🤔

I feel this. I moved recently, in the middle of so much other chaos, right when me and my therapist decided that what I needed was stability. It's been almost six months now, and I still haven't found that stability because I can't bring myself to unpack some of my things. It feels like they belonged in my previous house, where they were before. Keeping up with life is exhausting, but having your environment be comfortable and put together makes everything feel more manageable

It’s a great book! Everything that remains is another good one that helps reset life and life’s possessions.

this happened to me in the 2020 quarantine.... I won't stay I'm extremely happy with the changes but I can totally see it there is a big change in my entire life direction... ❤❤

You are not alone in that experience.

No darling, tidying is not a ridiculous way to Reset. In fact it’s exactly how I reset. And in the end we have two pluses. Ourselves Reset. As well as a healthy, clean space. Your home is your soul.
