Released 3 great albums with The Mescaleros in his later life, that were a collaboration of artists
Did you see that Esquire? The one with the beveled neck pick- up routing; that is covered by the pick guard? Extremely rare on the market.🧑🎨♾️🎸
thanks! Interesting dude!

I tend to agree. I think he rejoined the band later on, but I don't know if that's correct.
The only band that matters
He didn't start calling himself 'Joe Strummer' until a little but later but, overall good short Cochise!

Loved Joe. Met him several times. Global warming? I don't think so. Joe was too smart for that
Why did John Cusack play Brian Wilson shouldn't he play Joe Strummer in a movie
He never brushed his teeth as an adult. Thought it was a nuisance. True story.
He rose against deforestation also.
I just ate something spicy and my stomach hurts like a mutha. I just thought I mentioned it.

No one like this band.❤❤❤❤
I’m interested in the dichotomy between those iconic British pre punk & 1st Generation punk & the 2nd Gen of more working class & /or uneducated acts of 1979 - on which the England based popular tabloid & weekly music press dubbed “ Oi ! “ of which 1st wave east end heroes SHAM69 were often attributed as godfathers then destroyed by that medias’ Far Right Labelling & subsequent fringe followers .
Joe is missed
He is still missed, very much so, he always called out the fascist's

It was global warming back then until they realized that the icecaps aren't melting and the sea level hasn't changed much so now the new scam is climate change.

ALTERNATIVE STORY . Born into a wealthy family, he lived in Embassies and government buildings with servants and luxury, privately educated, he pretended to be working class all his life, he dumped his bandmates in the 101ers and left them high and dry when he got a better offer from Bernie Rhodes and a promise of money, the punk rock warrior, ha ha, don't make me laugh,
Cute guy
Don't think Joe was concerned with global warming and anti-racism as the narrator states. At least he never wrote about them in any of his lyrics.

Here's a quote directly from Joe: I think people ought to know that we’re anti-fascist, we’re anti-violence, we're anti-racist and we’re pro-creative. We’re against ignorance." Don't make me find a quote about global warming, which I could, I'm too tired.

A nice well brought up boy kinda playing at it but did some good stuff, if a bit of a phoney, I found the doc bout him quite moving. I also knew a drummer who joe wanted for the mescaleros but he wanted all the cash for himself n tried talkin said world class drummer into to just joinin the gang man. A bit rich
I always thought "Strummer" was a funny name.
