Just a good all-around guy and a great actor. Loved everything he did. Couldn't wait for The Munsters to air every week. Hard to believe he's already been gone over 30 years. With age, I believe he was getting even better as an actor and if he had lived another 10 - 15 years he would have left us with even more memorable roles.

I fell in love with the show and everything about it. I would be so hard pressed to say which show I was more impressed with, The Munsters or The Addams Family. They were two really great shows for entertaining. That was a time when there were many great television shows to choose from. If anyone can run across MeTV hang on to it and give it a try!! There are many shows that will bring back a flood of memories for you to ponder!! Have gone from 'The Beverly Hillbillies', 'Green Acres', 'Pettycoat Junction'' ans so many more. From the 50s, Highway Patrol, Dragnet, Time Tunnel, Land of the Giants, Leave It To Beaver, Gomer Pyle USMC, and so many more to bring back a good many more childhood memories to ponder!!

From Patr. Francis Muldoon, to Herman Munster to the Judge, FRED GWYNNE was one of my All-time Favorite actors and from everything I have read about him a PRINCE of a MAN ‼️ "The Addams Family" was cool, but "The Munsters" was outta the ball park as far as I'm concerned ! THANKS ED❗👍🏼❤️

Loved him in My Cousin Vinny. I also remember many of his other rolls. I also remember Car 54 where are you, I didn't realize he has been dead for so long. He wasn't that old when he died. He was a fine actor.

Such a great guy and talented in what he put himself into. Playing a judge in my cousin Vini was icing on the cake.

I loved The Munsters and faithfully watched all of the episodes and reruns. My siblings loved the Addams Family and watched them too. We had to come to a compromise sometimes but I still love the Munsters. At that time in our lives there was so much trauma going on in our lives and we all needed to see shows that made us laugh.

The Munsters was Hysterical, very funny antics, one of my favorite is when he goes for his driver's license, the old man was great.the road test was the icing on the cake, when alderman was letting out the clutch and the Oldman says STOP!

This man was a hero ,actor,& gave of himself by being in the public eye. Dying of Pancreatic Cancer,is sad, and, painful. He was amazing in all his endeavors. I &,much whoever encountered ,him were touched by his crafts, his persona, thank you for sharing this man with those across the world sometimes the internet makes earth seem miniscule ,people in all countries can appreciate humor, acting, and understand sickness(Cancer of anykind)affects, people on all continents. God bless this man . I rode with Al Lewis, (whom was on the Munster's series)with my friend Cheryl Bell,in a Parade, in the San Fernando Valley(1970's believe). Celebrating what I can't recall, back when I grew up ,parades were a big deal and watching them, Being asked to participate was an honor.🎉🎉🎉(you never forget, that or decorating a Rose Bowl float , Or anticipating the Macy's, Gimbal balloons,or other distinguished announcers ,or Grand Marshalls of those parades.you never forget, Nudies Western Wear,of California.
