1990 he made a movie called “Short Time”- to me as a retired officer is still a hilarious film. He thinks he is dying and his police benefits are only good if he dies on duty. So he starts going to extremely dangerous situations (hoping he dies), to stop the crimes being committed. I will not Spoil the whole film. Teri Garr is in the film as his wife… it’s set in Seattle Washington and I still enjoy it. Go watch it and enjoy Mr. Coleman. RIP

Damn, I was just thinking about him the other day wondering if he was still alive. I remember him from Drexel’s Class. It stuck in my mind when I remember seeing one specific episode that had the rapper “No Nose”. I remember how well the show did the first season but when the rating’s tanked they were trying anything to get viewers. It seemed surreal for a white urban kid to see a black rapper with a metal plate on his nose and Dabney dressed like up like one of his crew. He was a talented actor and by all accounts a very nice guy. Great memorial
