The Liberation of France Got Underway | Colorized World War II

As the liberation of France got underway, the citizens of a nation oppressed since 1940 celebrated the Allied arrival with rapture. For Hitler the writing was on the wall, and when one of his own, Claus von Stauffenberg attempted to assassinate the Führer, he very nearly succeeded.

Has anyone turned the subtitles on for this? They're absolutley different from what the narrator is saying.

This documentary terribly represents the Warsaw Uprising by saying that it was Poles who fought against the Nazis and failed to report that the uprising was mostly carried out by Jews who had been forced to live in the Warsaw ghetto by the Nazis.

Well, going with that idea, then no one has the right to criticize any endeavour, unless they can do better themselves. But that idea falls apart when you consider that a person may have a clear idea of how to do better in some specific way, but still be without some other necessary ability or resource. Consider a person with talent but who is too ugly to be a famous pop star. Or a coach who knows just how to win a game, but lacks the physical ability to do so, himself. A knowledgeable music critic cannot review a performance in any negative way, unless he himself can play better? No, I'm afraid your sarcasm doesn't really mean anything.@@oz_medias
