my first lens when I started off was a 50mm full frame Natalie F1.8 over the years I tried all sorts of lenses till today I mainly use primes a 35mm and a 50mm equivalents I enjoyed your take on lenses but I think if I begun again from the start I would like something like a good kit lens on crop sensor say a 18-55mm F2.8 would do me or 24-105mm full frame these days I like small lenses light weight easy to carry I do mainly street photography now though and try to carry as little kit as possible like you say it depends on what you really like to photograph the most so a good all around zoom I think for a beginner would be good thanks Natalie Tony.......

Thank you for this video - it's really helped me. I was a hobbyist some 30 years ago as young women of 20ish Then life happened including the loss/death of my female partner of 30 years, last year. This year, I've just got back into photography- i don't have fuji, but Olympus M43 cameras. But I love your videos. Thankyou so much. Keep them coming

Good suggestions at the end of the video. There really is no perfect lens. So really that just means we have to buy loads of lenses 😂

Hehe, absolutely, you need to build up the lenses you have over time!!
