Great to hear!
Having complete control over a chess board like that, must be the best feeling ever
Oh okay I thought the opening clip was some old school high-speed chase but it's just Anatoly's chauffeur spinning the wheels russian mafia style. What a legend

Man, finally a history video!!! I love this format, and the way you narrate and teach chess at the same time is incredible
Yes!! Another history lesson from the best ASMRtist
You explain chess better than anybody I’ve ever seen, even better than most GMs 🤣 keep up the great work!
Insane game, insane analysis. It’s rare to get 30 minutes into one of your videos and still see basically all the pieces on the board. What a beast of a game.
I got interested in playing chess because I saw my classmates play. But you're the channel I watched when getting to know chess (mainly because watching Levy was overwhelming) and it made me enjoy the game even more because of your analogies and relaxing nature. I discovered your channel because of your Shorts. I first watched your Sicilian Defense Dragon Variation and really loved how you described the roles of the pieces, like how the rook is a cannon and the monster bishop. It really activated my imagination and got me into chess a lot more! I hope you make videos just like these along with teaching opening videos. You're the one that truly got me a headstart and I really appreciate that!
Your storytelling never fails to amaze me. Along with the AMAZING game and relaxing narration 44 minutes went by in a jiffy. Brilliant video!
I like how you’ve had the channel for SO long and all the fruits are arriving. Plus… the amount of people you have and will get into chess is simply wonderful. Thank you for the quality content with amazing storytelling that shows how chess is interesting to all, with a graceful touch of ASMR ❤
Always enjoy the way you sell the drama and the excitement each step of the way for these historical games!
Another legendary video so soon from the last, i cant ask for a better day!
I’ve been waiting for a historical game video for MONTHS!!! I love all your content but this is always my absolute favourite, please do more!
I loved the edited intro of this video, very captivating. But I think I enjoy your whisper content over your soft spoken, this video felt more intense than relaxing. Still an amazing game and video though.

Thanks! Yes I was trying out a different style with this video :)
That was fantastic and educational. Really enjoyed watching this all the way through, I was hooked on the next level strategy.
This was a wonderfully absorbing narrative of a truly interesting chess battle. The calm clarity of your descriptions makes me wish to rewatch soon, to see how clearly I can grasp just where it is that Karpov loses control. Thanks Much!
I love these historic game videos that you do... sometimes i go to sleep to them... but i also watch them to learn... as a sicilian player i really love the games you show in the sicilian and the opening tutorials of course! I also play queens gambit... so i love all those too.
Yes finally an old game again! Awesome video as always!
Another great video!! I absolutely love your channel. Thank you for what you do 🖤
I love these types of vids the most. Was so happy to see this new upload
I really enjoyed how you added some history in the beginning to the put the game into context. Amazing game & video.
Very relaxing video, you never fail to deliver!
Love this game, the fact it takes white a queen sacrifice just to get rid of it makes it one of my favourite games
Simply amazing. Thank you ❤️
The legendary octopus knight game! One of the most devastating and beautiful games ever played ❤ Love the video :)
This has got to be one of the greatest positional chess games I have ever seen, not because there were any awesome sacrifices or tactical patterns, but because Kasparov literally squeezed Karpov to death on the battlefield with his pieces and the legendary octopus knight. And of course, what an amazing story you told that captivated me for over 45 minutes; not an easy thing to do when it comes to YT vids! It would be epic if you made more historical chess game videos. btw, the correct plural of "octopus" is "octopuses." Octopi is actually a misspelled form of the plural word stemming from the Latin ending, however "octopodes" is also correct, just lest commonly used. But all three are acceptable to use in American English. :)
This was amazing. Opened to sleep, couldn’t stop watching. Had to rewind a few times lol. Bravo 👏 at the end, fell asleep like a baby
Wow one of the greatest game i have ever seen thanks enjoying every second
You’re a great storyteller! Very captivating and relaxing at the same time!

That was wonderful!
The KZread preview for this video started to play in my search for finding an ASMR video before bed. Immediately got roped in. I’m almost done the video. I haven’t played chess in a long time and I’ve only played a couple of times. I had to Google some of the words to understand the deeper meaning (such as castling), but good grief this is riveting. I dare say you have earned a (now slightly sleep deprived) subscriber!

I think of all your great content, the historical games are my favorite. Well done friend, you set the stage incredibly well.
I'm so excited
When you said "let's consider" at 28:05 it reminded me of that Sergey Varasov video except i think he followed it up by saying something like: "Uhhhh...ummm... " 😂

Can you make a video on Haxo Gambit? Great video btw!
I like the documentary style opening you went for with this video. However, I don't really like the voiceover audio. It seems a bit monotone compared to your other videos. Did you do anything different audio wise?

Can you do a video covering Hikaru Nakamura? As of now he is the second best chess player and covering his games is a great way to learn defensive ideas.
@ASMRChess
Жыл бұрын
I will some time yes :)
Why does he move the bishop back at 31:22 when it's not under threat yet when he can use that move to get the knight out via b2? I get that that threat is coming from the knight but surely that tempi is best used getting the knight back in the game?
@ASMRChess
Жыл бұрын
It doesn't work. 24. Nb2 Qf6 25. Nxd3 Bxd3 26. Qxd3 Ne5 and white can't protect the bishop and the queen at the same time. Interestingly Stockfish prefers 24. Nb2 on low depth but changes its mind when it goes deeper.

Thank you master for your videos that actually made me total chess fan and I really enjoyed watching your videos cause you are only one person that could make my sleep well 😴♟️
the best thing ab your channel is that it's not a compromise between interesting and relaxing. it's just totally both at once. i get so invested in it i never wanna click off, as your slow relaxing voice soothes me to sleep till i have to put my phone down. you're the only channel that actually puts me to sleep every single time. i'm so grateful to know ab your channel and that i share your interest in chess! ♟️💖
